Fantastic work. Really well done! Best DL1 Reshade? Probaly...

This mod Still works in August 2023.
-Download Install LATEST vers of Reshade (including all/any optional files),  into your dyingLight.exe location.
-copy/paste all the mods files *EXCEPT  the  DXGI.dll*  to the locations the mod author described in his install instructions:

Basically this mod includes an old DXGI.dll version that is causing crashes, the new Reshade comes with a new version, so we use that one.

*EDIT: Just checked and this mod is working with Reshade vers 4.8.2. I assume that any Reshade vers 4.8.2 or above will work just fine.

Its not working anymore on game version 1.16, could you PLEASE fix this? Your mod makes the game look SO much nicer!

    EDIT:
Found the fix! Go to this link:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/wki1u73sc7zeric/Reshade_v0.16%2BMasterEffect_v1.190%20%282%29.zip?dl=0

    1. Download all those files.
    2. Open what you downloaded with WinRar, then extract the files (Reshade.fx etc) into the folder where your DyingLight.exe is located.
    3. Now this is the improtant part, grab the reshade.fx file and the 3 png files from ECG and drop them into the same dying light folder/game directory. Don't bother with the DW folder, it breaks the game and makes it look shit.

Feel free to ask any questions and i'll respond and help since mod author is not replying, I had figured all this out in the span of a few hours. Also, replace and overwrite files if asked to.

Optional edits to make the mod look better:
Open up reshade.fx file with notepad or some form of text editor, and keep in mind that 0 means off and 1 means on. Go find the lines of tiltshift, sharpening, border, and moviebars. Change their 1 values to 0 to turn them off because they are unnecessary. Last but not least, turn OFF antialiasing in the ingame settings to have a crisp and sharp game. Disable or enable the film grain setting in game, whatever looks better for you.

Go into reshade.fx with notepad or wordpad or something and change the "1" to a "0" of the moviebars line. Its near the top.

Bro. I installed the mod and disabled the black bars and borders. Opened the game and I had the cinematic black bars and red borders. Noticed that the mod was completely disabled, but the watermarks of the two "Shaders" (?) appear.
Enabled the black bars and borders and now nothing happened. (As I said the watermarks appear but nothing happens).
