Hi, I found a way to bypass the Modified Msg appears on the screen when you open a game after installing a mod, to bypass this you will need to create a folder in documents/dyinglight/out and Name the folder "data" and copy and paste, or extract any mod in it. Note that: if you paste/copy mod files into main game folder where the dying light files are it will give you that annoying msg upon opening the game.
In this way you can play online with the current mods you applied, I installed a dev menu and did the same steps and i can play online with anyone with dev menu.
If a mod contains Data3.pak rar file than you will need to right-click and click on extract here or click on extract to a specified folder and do it as mentioned above.
I have the directory (it's not empty) Documents/DyingLight/outcreated by the game.
I've put some modified files (with full path) in it, e.g.data/scripts/inventory/inventory_special.scrwith modified number of max Ranger Bow arrows, and the modification doesn't register with the game.
It works fine if I zip that same modified file into Dying Light/DW/Data3.pak
Do you...do you still not have a good enough computer to play a 10 year old game? Just asking for a friend, they think your priorities may be out of whack.
Seriously dude, any cheap used 5 year old GPU will pound this game out at 60FPS no problem. No excuses for a mod like this coming out for a 10 year old game.
I am sure you will ban me from your mods or delete this comment; the context of this mods release just baffles me.
Hey if u dont understand it, here is a video similar to this but just unzip the .rar files copy/paste to that location that is told in this video: https://youtu.be/wU7x3fZwEpU?si=WctHiQhCWnExpqop
Also try to translate the language into one of yours language through google translator it will help you alot!
I installed the full version using the mod manager link and I can't tell that it actually did anything. I'm 100% certain that it didn't disable the wind.
Just download the file and then delete inventory folder, performence.scr , noise.scr, shadows.scr , ssao.scr and wind.scr. Follow my instructions on how to apply the mod
Edit: I created a new version with "motion blur" disabled only
Thanks for fast respond, but sadly it still doesn't work. Seems like devs changed something in the latest patch 1.49. After adding "varlist_blur_camera_motion.scr" and "varlist_blur_motion.scr" to Data0.pak situation in game becomes even worse. Heavy motion blur happens simply when standing and moving camera. This has been tested on two different PC's. I have done some investigation and have found the culprit of the problem. In the file "varlist_blur_motion.scr" there is a line "VarFloat("f_blur_motion_camera", 0.0)" - reverting this value to 1.0 makes motion blur work without any changes, it still presents in the game. Changing this value to something else - completely breaks motion blur and makes game unplayable. If you will try to delete this line, then after loading the game you will have black screen. Maybe you can find the solution ?
I extracted Varlist_blur.scd and Varlist_camera_motion_blur.scd from Data0.pak and Set all the values to 0.0 and the blur samples to "0". That seems to work. I dont have any blur while running but the running affect on the shoulders of crane. I didnot got any blackscreen issue but set the value of blur samples in Varlist_camera_motion_blur.scd to "0.0" causes instant crash so put blursamples to "0" instead of "16"(default value)
