Is it me or does this not work with gog version of the game?
When I try using the first set of file it gives me a missing steamapi or dll error whcih I assume means the first set of files are for the steam version of the game.
Doesn't work with the epic stores files either.
Would be nice if there was a set of files for the gog version of the game too!
Hello, currently there is no GOG version because I don't know anybody who owns that version of the game. Perhaps you could send me the GOG version's DLL files and I will take a look.
I downloaded the new dll's and added them to the game along with the other files from the steam version of your current DLable files and the game started up like a charm and in the awakening mission as I loaded in I got the MP is unlocked message writing flash in the screen like when at the first safe house and upon hitting esc matchmaking was lit up and available!
Thus I think it works. I didnt test further than that cause we switched to the steam version of the game since many mods seem to focus on steam and epic after. Also the gog version was giving us issues connecting via lan that steam isn't.
I do think this will work for GoG users though Thank You!
Hey so I installed the mod which by the way did not work with crossplay between Epic and Steam (I'm on Epic) so I uninstalled it. However, even with the mod uninstalled I cannot join my friends (1 Epic and 1 Steam) in co-op. When they send me invites it only comes up wit reject and vice versa. However however, they are able to join each other. I have tried reinstalling the game, using the uninstall for the mod multiple times, restarting my pc but it still won't work. Do you know of a fix for this?
Yes, crossplay likely won't work because of the patches being different between the Steam and Epic version. Honestly when I made this mod I didn't even know an Epic version existed, and I certainly wasn't able to test it due to everybody I know owning the Steam version.
If you uninstalled the mod completely and even reinstalled the entire game, whatever connection issues you are having are unrelated to the mod. It's hard to say exactly what is causing that, it could be a firewall issue, perhaps a VPN issue if you're using one, etc. Unfortunately I really can't say without seeing your specific setup.
Since you used the Epic version of the mod, make sure all of the mod files are not being used, this includes the "dsound.dll" file which should be deleted from the game folder. There's a possibility this file sticks around even after reinstalling the game.
Hey friend, im trying to connect with a friend from epic but its giving errors, sometimes it says the party is full is you got invited and if you tried to join it said it didnt let you
Mod worked like a charm on the prologue, but on the Extraction Mission(the finale) the second player would just drop out after loading in, this is the epic games version by the way.
It's a weird problem, if it works in prologue it should be the same for the finale. If you and the other player(s) are using different game versions (one Steam, one Epic etc) then try to restore the original DLL files and have everyone use the dsound.dll from the Epic version of the mod.
I wasn't able to test this out much because everyone I was playing with at the time had the Steam version, so I know it works well on there at least.
Both players were in the epic games version of the game, and we tried to playtest the finale, before starting new saves so we can play the prologue(which the prologue worked great) together and the finale didn't work, however i tried playing the ending of the game myself again, everything seems to be fine, QTE were disabled so the only problem is that the players drop out whenever we get past the loading screen.Do you think that other mods can conflict with yours?Or is the epic games verison of this mod the problem itself? This mod is great tho nontheless.
I've had another Epic Games player tell me the mod is working for them, so I think the mod files are okay. I haven't tested this mod with others, but if other mods change any of the same files then there will be a conflict.
If you already had the finale mission on a save you made before using the mod, it's possible this is why it doesn't work. There could be other reasons, but nobody else has reported the same problem.
In the prologue, you can invite people after the first few cutscenes. During the finales, you can invite people before or after you start the mission (players won't drop out anymore in the mod).

If this works I'll add the files for the GOG version of the mod. Thank you for uploading them.

If its not, is it possible to make a adapt version of it?

EDIT: Fixed in latest version.
