First off, this is my first published mod for Dying Light. So if I screw it up, sorry.
I have about 30 hours logged in this game and have been very happy with the new version 1.5 and all the changes they made. However, I'm still left feeling that the Agility Skill is not balanced with Survivor and Power skills. Agility XP adds up VERY slowly for my style of play (cautious, explorer). So I found a way to increase the XP gained by performing agility actions.
This mod changes the XP awarded as follows:
- Reduce the minimum distance required between climb XP award from 1.3 to 1.0 (I'm assuming this is meters)
- Reduce the minimum time required between climb XP award from 5 to 2 seconds.
- Parkour XP awards increased:
[Shimmy] From 5 to 10
[Edge Grab] From 25 to 40
[Climb Up] 15 -> 25
[Climb Down] 5 -> 10
- Skilled actions XP awards increased:
[Slide] 20 -> 30
[Tackle] 20 -> 30
[Landing Roll] 20 -> 30
[Jump Over Zombie] 20 -> 40
[Wall Jump] 20 -> 30
[Air Attack] 10 -> 20
[Dodged Attack] 20 -> 30
[Charge] 10 -> 20
[Whirlwind] 20 -> 30
[Ground Pound] 20 -> 30
[Jump Attack] 25 -> 40
[Football Kick] 20 -> 30
[Front Kill] 20 -> 30
Installation:
- Extract the zip to Documents\Dying Light\out
- Profit
Removal:
- Delete "default_levels.xml" from Documents\Dying Light\out\data\skills
