Just noticed a problem that I think can softlock someone from progressing; ammo crates don't give out ammo when you interact with them. That might cheese the game, having a fully stocked inventory of weapons, but on the building level with the alien ship boss, the devestator you pick up only has 15 missiles. I also noticed that non-explosive weapons don't work on it (or if they do, a fully loaded ripper and shotgun still won't kill it). I don't know if this can be fixed, but any help is appreciated.
Holy balls is this the first Duke Nukem Forever gameplay mod in existence? Damn it's pretty cool but I don't like all the changes listed in the description. How do you regain health? Is sprint completely useless now that default movement speed is super fast? I prefer modern reloading. Freeze Ray regens twice as slow than it already does? Why reduced executions? Grappling with pig cops I thought was fun, it only rarely happens to me anyways.
Everything else sounds cool. So long as the keybinds for all the weapons can be edited.
Can you change friendly and enemy AI behavior? Anyway to add in more enemies to fight in levels? The problem I had with DNF was the lack of firefights. I didn't mind all the gunplay changes but there weren't enough enemies to kill.
Ok now for some reason I can move and look around but I can't use any of the weapons. I pick up the Devastator in the first level and when I get to the Cycloid Emperor on the elevator it doesn't show up in my hands, but I have my fists from the sequence beforehand. I did everything the readme said to but I keep getting this, what the f*** is going on?
EDIT Just saw the post about pressing the key for the Devastator and got the mod working, disregard this lmao
For some reason I cant get Duke to move or do anything other than look around and use the Duke Vision with the mod installed. I think it's cus of the ini for removing the weapon limit, but it erases any and all bindings for some reason, and resetting all the bindings to default in the menu doesn't fix it either.
Would love a version WITH reloading. Even the original DNF from 2001 had reloading in it. Reloading guns in shooters is cool af. Otherwise, great mod. Couldn't have been easy putting this together.
