About this mod

This mod balances out most weapons and armor in the game so that, after being fully enhanced, their stats are roughly similar (in different ways), to their end-game counterparts.

Now also includes a variant that enables all armor for any job.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Mod Goal: To give back players the ability to decide their equipment based on style and, in some cases, what specific resistances/defense/offense they need, instead of being locked into using only the end-game gear due to the vast difference in stats.

A second "unrestricted" version of the mod can be found in the files section here as well - this enables any job to use any armor. I did *NOT* enable this for weapons because it breaks the game in many ways.

If you have feedback on the weapon/armor balance in this mod, or would like to discuss ideas regarding the New Game Plus experience with other people in our community, please feel free to join our Discord at: https://discord.gg/KtQUHSsHHY

Installation:
Choose what version you want and download from the "files" section here.
Extract the .rar content into the modmanager\Games\DragonsDogma2\Mods folder in Fluffy Mod Manager.

Armor Rebalancing

Standard Rebalanced Items - Armors have been rebalanced to provide roughly the same defense across all listed pieces by having their base stats modified. In many cases, this means their base stats may look higher than some end-game gear - however, after enhancing, they should be roughly similar. Choose your armor based on what looks cool, or based on exactly what defenses you need to overcome a challenge.

Weapon Rebalancing

Overall, weapons have been rebalanced to be pretty much equal in power to endgame weapons, so that you can choose your weapon based on how cool you think it looks and/or because you need access to a specific element/ability (such as silencing while attacking). Note that, similar to armor, only the base stats have been modified - after enhancing your weapon fully, the final stats should be roughly similar to other end-game gear.
