Please, do read the description page and the comments in the editable section of the lua script carefully! You can edit a lot of things to your preferences.
Works with both controller and keyboard/mouse. For keyboard and mouse players Proper Camera Controls for PC is recommended for better experience.
Warning! The new version brings aim camera adjustments. We did test the main skills, but because we can't test all of them, if you see weird camera behavior while aiming, please, make a report in BUGS section with detailed explanation of the issue.
Have you had any issues with certain abilities being zoomed in to much when you use them? For example, the Fighter parry or Vengeful Slash ability, when you proc it, the camera zooms in over your head and you can't even see the attack. I'm trying to figure out how to adjust this value so it stays fixed without zooming in so much.
Really. Hmm, that's weird. I tried Over the Shoulder + FOV mod and no camera issues with that one, because it keeps it a fixed position. But here, you can edit the .lua and change the camera values to your liking, yet it zooms in a lot when using certain skills because I have my camera set to 2.5 over the shoulder. If I set it to farther, like 3.5, then it doesn't zoom as much. So this mod does control the camera universally. But I wish I could adjust the camera for those abilities too. I don't think I have any other mods that could be messing with camera at all.
Hmm ya. Cuz the default zoom at 3 is pretty decent, not too close. So using certain skills wouldn't make the zoom so drastic that you'd notice. I bumped it closer by 0.5 points which makes is much closer than before. And yeah, abilities get zoomed in even further. The mod is still great and looks fantastic. But I just wish those abilities weren't affected to that degree. I might go back to 3.0 in that case to avoid the camera jankiness. Thanks anyway!
I think that the aiming arrangement with the bow brings a side effect, when you grab objects or enemies, now the camera is placed to the left, and of course it generates a strange effect and makes it difficult to aim with objects. I leave it as a comment, great if it could be fixed, but it probably won't be that simple.
Yep, same issue. Would be nice if throwing objects aiming was separate from bow aiming. Cuz when you set offset to the left of the screen, it also affects the throwing arc, and in vanilla camera settings this is actually on the right side of the screen, and it was designed this way intentionally. Because it makes it nearly impossible to aim correctly when throwing objects cuz the item you're holding is literally blocking the aiming arc if you're offset is set to the left. Hope author updates this...
So, I'm really enjoying this mod and it feels really good. The only issue I'm seeing is that if you make your camera really close, then certain skills and abilities are affected as well with really extreme zoom levels. I thought the "Disable_skill_camera" or Disable_emphasis_camera" would affect this, but setting it to either true/false makes no difference. So I'm not sure how to make it so that the camera stays fixed without zooming in during those abilities. Any way to add a setting that allows this? Thank you.
Hi there, great mod! Although, when I tried to edit the scripts, and then disable/enable the mod from the ScriptRunner to refresh them, game crashed right away. In fact, disabling/enabling any of the mods in the ScriptRunner immediately froze and crashed my game with this mod installed. So weird. Any ideas why?
Also, I just wanted to ask. What are the emphasis and skill cams exactly? Setting it to true/false, I didn't notice any difference.
Hey, I just wanted to ask, in the description page it says that the camera setting is configurable in-game. But when I open Reframework, I don't see the usual mod listed under the usual mod configuation GUI. Where in the Reframework is the configuration option located?
Hi r457, cool mod! In the new version the camera is now much farther away from the character, which makes it lose the shooter feel that was in the previous version, yes there was an issue with the scope shifting to the left, but I'm so used to the old version that it feels even worse in the new one. It would be cool to go back to the previous version, with the offset edit,
It's shoulder native vanilla point of view. And it's there to actually allow you to aim, otherwise your character model overlaps aiming reticle. It's not a bug, so why asking for a "fix"? And a fix for what? The mod or vanilla? Sorry, but not getting the idea here.
There are about 20 skill-specific aim modes. If you tried magic archer, you'd know about reticle modes, aiming and positioning. Just removing that will break much more than it can potentially solve.
You don't understand what we are telling you, obviously the Vanilla camera turns to the left so that you can see where it is pointed, but with this mod, it happens that it makes a strange movement when pointing with the base or the magic bow, it makes a Additional left movement, instead of pointing where you initially wanted it moves the pointer even further to the left.
OK, now I get it, but to let you know: why you didn't do that explanation from the start? We're losing time trying to decrypt a two-words sentence followed by useless counter. So thank you for details and next time, please, do that instead of writing +1.

I'll do your test just to see how it goes.

Any recommendations of those values adjustments?
Thanks
EDIT: nvm I'm dumb and forgot about the Z-offset

If I'm not mistaken it has this feature into it
