Unfortunately I have the same problem. The tintable parts remain white, even though I did everything exactly as described. I also disabled the Seasonal Palettes Mods that I had.
I'm sorry you're having this issue. Disabling the Seasonal Palettes Mod certainly wouldn't fix anything. Are you using the Frosty version or the daimod version? Frosty texture mods are always a bit hit and miss-- they'll work fine for some, and not for others. If you're using the EA App, that complicates matters further, as it's notorious for breaking mods. I'm still using Origin, so I don't run into this issue.
If using the Opulent Tints settings and the Frosty Glitch fix didn't help, then I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to help. I do find the daimod version more stable, so if it's the Frosty version giving you troubles, try the daimod version. I spent 5 weeks straight on what was initially a personal mod trying to make it perfect, and I don't feel like the interest has made the effort worth it. Perhaps someone on the modding discord can figure out the issue.
Nope, definitely not normal. Which version are you running? If it's the Frosty one, try using the Glitch Fix.
After taking another look at the sections you mentioned, I think you just need to read the description a little more carefully. Those parts of the armor are tintable, so the color will depend on the crafting material used. It's white because you used a white leather.
I'm using the DAI mod version. When I meet Stroud those parts are white, I've only seen this on the warrior version since I have a mod that puts the Warden contact in the heavy armor. Might just be a conflict perhaps?
Unlikely, as I also use the heavy armor. But the parts you're describing are the tintable parts of the armor. Do you have a mod that changes the default leather colors?
It would be cool if the helmets also matched the armor. it's a little jarring seeing someone walk around with such nice armor but a completely unchanged helmet.
I always run with helmets turned off, so doing the helmet didn't even occur to me. I'm unlikely to ever do a helmet retexture for this, since I think most people keep helmets turned off. But if I do end up making a helmet retex, it'll be for daimod-- no sense in doing one for frosty until the warden armors frosty glitch gets a mod patch (if it can be patched at all).
I spent a few hours with this tonight and cannot for the life of me get the retexture to show on the helmets in-game. I will poke at it on and off (if I can figure out what's going wrong, it's most of the way done), but it may be a few weeks. (and it will be a daimod rather than a frosty mod)
OK blaizeybones, you're in luck! Got some help figuring out where I was going wrong with the helmets, so I've managed to finish the helmet retexture. I've uploaded it as an optional file. By some miracle it doesn't break Frosty either, so there's a Frosty and DAIMOD version.
