Hey! I found some banners which are not getting replaced, I don't know if it's intentional. The location is Argon's Lodge in Emerald Glades, after Fairbanks refugees transfer over there. I think i've seen that same type of banner not getting replaced in another place, but i can't find it.

Edit: I was looking around a bit and found another regular flag which is just tattered grey, at the Three Trout Farm Camp in Crestwood. Will edit here if i find more.
Edit#2: A debatable one could be Winterwatch Tower/Lornan's Exile in the Hinterlands after you convince the cultists there to join the Inquisition. The castle shows Ferelden flags.

The goal of the mod was to recolor Inquisition themed items, not replace existing flags/banners with Inquisition ones. I know it might make sense for Inquisition heraldry to be placed in those locations, but changing them to a different texture would be a category of DAI modding I don't have experience with. Again, that wasn't the goal of this mod, sorry :(

This is my first time modding DAI and I wanted to post my results.  I first used Frosty (1.0.6.1 The current Stable Version) and while it worked anytime I enabled the Heraldry file I had really weird long load times in certain places.  Mostly the War Room and the Undercroft.  Normally these are about 3 - 5 seconds and they jumped up to anywhere from 20 - 60 seconds.  I tried the latest Alpha version of Frosty and it didn't make any difference.  There were other problems as well.  What I ended up doing is following your guide on Daimod + Frosty.  I loaded the texture mods with Daimod first and then my few other mods with Frosty and it's been great since.  Haven't had a single problem.  The textures look great by the way!  Thanks.

Yeah, Frosty still doesn’t seem great for texture mods. There’s a mod I listed in the Description page that might help, but I think combining the two mod managers is best.

Hey, everything is working perfectly apart from Skyhold flags. They have this strange pixelated/tattered look, I'm using Frosty and Skyhold is at stage 2. I've uploaded a picture to images so you can see what I mean, hopefully you know a fix or what could be causing it. Thanks in advance =)

Edit: I tried numerous ways to try and get the flags to work in the frosty version and it just wasn't having it. I ended up just using the DAIMOD version for the "heraldry" and that works fine, so if you're having trouble just do that.

Yes, this is a known issue; it’s listed in the Description page. I tried all I could to fix it back then, but sadly Frosty still has issues with texture mods. From my experience, certain mods just refuse to work for people even if they seem fine for others. I’d recommend using DAIMM + Frosty as I do, instructions are also on the Description page.

I love this mod combined with the formal wear for the inquisitor.  they're just so perfect.  well almost ...  I was looking at a scene standing next to josie in her formal wear  and I noticed that the formal wear that everyone else wears looks more decorated than mine.  specifically theirs has little ornamentation across the shoulders where as the inquisitor's are just plan black.  I was thinking that perhaps that should be backwards.  Is there anyway to make it so that the inquisitior's uniform has the ornamentation and everyone just has normal black sleeves?  Aside from that it is just marvelous.  i can't imagine playing without it.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Huh, I completely overlooked that about the shoulders. Looks like the original Exquisition mod has this same oddity. Men and the Inquisitor do not have the leaf-like decorations on the shoulders. Unfortunately I wouldn't know how to change it at this time, as I don't have the knowledge required for DAI modding to change something like that. However, there are also images on the Exquisition mod page showing an Inquisitor with the shoulder decorations. Maybe it has something to do with crafting the outfit? I wish I had a better answer for you.

This mod is fabulous! I chose black/silver and the colors look great. I had no trouble with getting it to work (using DAIModManager, I refuse to switch to Frosty).

Thank you, I’m glad you like it! While I do use DAIMM + Frosty, most of my mods are through DAIMM. I seem to have less issues with those ones, especially texture mods.

I was wondering if you could help me out, I installed the mod via FROSTY and went through a new game but nothing's changed. Fresh install of Inquisition, no other mods barring this one and your formal wear mod, and I did apply them too. Any ideas?

I got it to work now, idk how but it works, thank you for replying. I also wonder if you think a Black and Red colour scheme would be good? :)

While I'm also a fan of Black & Red, unniebee's Faction Recolors has a fantastic option with those colors, and I don't think I could do one any better than theirs :)

Having an issue with this sadly. I'm using Frosty. I tried to import all, and then just one at a time. Every time I do thought Frosty crashes and disappears. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Of course, when I try to give it the zip file it says there's no archives. So, I extracted them and that's when the crashes started. Any idea what's going on? I downloaded the purple and silver if that makes a difference at all.

Frosty mods don't use archive files anymore. You'll only see them with older ones now, meaning that my mod doesn't have archives. I've tested every single version of this mod, both DAIMOD and Frosty, and they all work for me. Please read through my troubleshooting suggestions on the description page, as it could be any number of things causing your issues. Since I can't recreate it, there's nothing I can do to the mod itself to "fix" it. Maybe start by checking that you have the latest version of Frosty Mod Manager, or you could use the DAIMOD version of the mod.

Frosty Mod Manager and Frosty Editor still receive regular updates. Checking the Discord server, I can see that a new version was released two days ago on the 20th. Link to GitHub: FrostyToolsuite

One thing that's a constant with DAI mods: there's always "those mods" that will not work, but do work for others, no matter what you do. I hate seeing it happen with my mods, but I can't convince everyone's copy of the game to behave lol

seems like I'm getting some bugs with the haven chantry, is this mod meant to be used after you get to skyhold?

edit: doesn't look like anything's conflicting with the mod and uninstalling it solves the problem

This can be used at any time. I tested all of the versions and they all work on my end, but it seems like everyone's copy of DAI has its own weirdness. For me, one Sera outfit retexture just breaks my game; map is blank, textures not loading, infinite loads. Sadly, it seems my mod is doing that to your game. You could try another color combination or one of the other faction recolor mods.

unnibee's faction recolor mod actually does the same thing lol, i can't install it till i reach skyhold and it crashes the game at the winter palace too. thanks for the info though, dai does seem to be a little weird sometimes when it comes to mods

Have you ever tried verifying and repairing your game? That’s fixed bugged textures and freezing for me in the past.

not in this instance, i got frustrated manually uninstalling mods to figure out which one was causing the problem lol, will try in the future though

update: after a long time testing the mods i have installed + reinstalling and repairing the game it looks like this mod is causing the problem which means it's probably my game like you said, i will try reinstalling when i get to skyhold to see if that makes a difference. your mod is beautiful and i want to make it work if i can!

The reply I gave to RiRiW is probably what I would say to you, as well. I'm really sorry you're having issues, I feel bad that there isn't much I can do. Since I don't have the same problems on my end I wouldn't know what to look for. I'm sure we all have a different roster of mods installed and PCs which factor into this. I'll try playing DAI again soon to see if I can discover more specific issues.

well i appreciate you taking the time! other faction recolor mods do the same thing unfortunately but so far the mod looks beautiful at skyhold so that's an endorsement from me!

Really love this mod, especially since Purple and Gold is my go-to color combo with any game (and I mean ANY game where they're available). Where the recolors work without glitching everything is lovely. If I could bleed purple, I would lol.

Unfortunately, this mod gives me a few issues. Little things like a couple of rugs not rendering correctly and the Inqy's bed in Haven being transparent I can live with. Loading times are expected to be a little longer when you have mods, so again that doesn't bother me. However, I continuously had an issue where on my current playthrough the game froze after the time jump in Redcliffe Castle. The loading screen would be there for 5mins (maybe I'm not as patient as I thought haha) or so, and then the game would freeze once you were supposed to fight the Venatori in the cell. I disabled all my mods and re-added them one by one. The problem did not arise again until this mod. Idk if it's something I am doing, I have no conflicts to speak off showing up, or if it is just DAI being weird DAI lol. If I figure out a solution I will update. MUST HAVE PURPLE AND GOLD.

Purple is also my favorite color!! Having the shade of purple I wanted was my main motivation to see this through :D I hate seeing my mod causing issues, but I'm not sure there is much I can do beyond the suggestions I've already given in the description page and my other comments. I think I mentioned this in the description, but I could not get the mural in the Inquisitor's bedroom and the flag pole textures to work correctly in the Frosty editions. Daimod seemed to be ok, but DAI, like you said, can be very picky with each person's individual game.

Others have suggested trying the daimod version through Frosty and that seems to work for them, and it's something I've done, too. Idk if you're using daimm or frosty or both, but sometimes load order can help as well. I know for Frosty, having mods that edit ebx at the top and texture mods at the bottom is a good load order. General rule of thumb for using both programs is also using daimm just for retextures since it handles them better, and frosty only for ebx edits (like No More Fog of War, bug fixes, level cap changes, etc).

Love this mod so much! Everyone can finally escape the strange orange and mint color scheme going on in their uniforms... And Skyhold looks so much more unified in theme and looks!

Just a tip for people who are starting a new game with this mod applied.
I found out that it bugs out the game after Haven.
I had all the mods applied from the beginning even the Skyhold related ones. The uniforms and heraldry worked with zero problems.
However, the scene after you talk to Solas and it fades to white, it never goes past that white screen. If you click around you can hear the playable character making attack moves. So basically it's stuck at the snow scene (when I force quit the game, it even flashes a bit and shows you the torch stand object Solas lights up and the playable character is standing next to it).

I think the problem occurs because the initial Skyhold that loads is the run down one where not all the structures and locations are available. I tried mix and matching the different mod parts (adornments, armour, heraldry, no throne heraldry), but it seems turning them all off is the answer.
EDIT: Turn the mods back on after you leave Skyhold at least once.

Of course it could be just clashing with other mods I've applied, but at least for my game file the above solution did the trick.
Hope this helps for people experiencing the same issues!

I’m glad you like it! The uniforms were always the thing that bugged me most, those colors didn’t make any sense! Thank you for posting your solution. Certain mods can make my game unplayable/break, too. Haven and the journey to Skyhold seem to be common places that have issues with mods.
