The white freckles? It's the blush of the qunari makeup from the Susi qunari mods page. Only for qunari, though.

I'm getting CTD on start-up with the gold earring set for EF. I have all of the requirements. What do you think the issue could be?

The gold earring set for elf female shouldn't require anything other than a mod manager to install it with (frosty mod manager), and the DLCs (trespasser, and the multiplayer dragonslayer DLC.)

Have you tried checking whether the CTD still happens when my mod is the only one installed? Because if the CTD doesn't happen then, that either means that a) a different mod is the cause of the CTD or b) another mod of yours was clashing with this one.

Try going to your dragon age inquisition root folder, and deleting the ModData folder, now start the game with just my mod and see if it CTDs. Then report back to me with the results.

Also, if the CTD does not happen when my mod is the only one installed, if possible, please prepare a screenshot of your full mods list for me to look over (regardless of which mod manager you have them in), so I can see if I can help you figure out what mod is the cause, if applicable.

Wow, that was such a fast reply, thank you! I've followed your instructions and the CTD did not happen when your mod was the only one installed. Here's a link to the screenshots of my modlist. When I was getting the CTD, I had your mod loading last, so it had priority. I hope this helps!

Hmm, I think I recall the 60 FPS in cutscenes mod possibly having some issues in some scenes, like going through mirrors, also getting stuck in the fade in the prologue, although I don't know whether it would cause crashes though, I don't use it myself, so this is just information I've heard from word of mouth.

For kurbits vallaslins, you'll want a glitch fix for that to avoid possible(?) infinite load in the hinterlands, and textures sometimes going blurry, you can download a chargen bundle fix for this from the halla horns for qunari mod page (the file from the optional files, not the horns itself), just be sure to load your hair visibility fixes BELOW the chargen file for expected results (though strictly speaking, non of your mods that you've pictured seem to require my hair visibility fixes anyways, so you could remove my hair visibility fixes if you want.)

Padme's Solas Frosty Texture Glitch Fixes arefixes for his outfit textures, not his face textures, so you don't technically need that file installed, seeing as you don't have any outfit textures for him. Ditto for the Sera Frosty Texture Glitch Fixes.

Your Dorian fixes are however needed for your Dorian mod to function, so you can leave that on. You can also leave your Cassandra fix on for the same reason.

However, you don't need the Blackwall fix, seeing as that is for outfit textures, and you don't have any outfit textures for him.

I've seen some reports of textures for materials in frosty causing issues before, so maybe you can try disabling your better texture files and
seeing if that does anything. Frosty sometimes gets fussy about upscaled textures on certain assets, not all, though. I can't speak on whether the issue happens with better textures though, as I don't use it.

Let me know if that helps. Otherwise, report back again.

You're incredible, it works beautifully now. I did everything you suggested and it's working great now, so it must have been the better texture files. Thank you for all your hard work, it looks amazing <3

Hello! Sorry if I am just being dumb, but the hair mod doesn't show up in random cutscenes and after them as well. I am using it with Dwarf Female and it changed to mullet hairstyle in Redcliff Castle and after the battle for Haven. Could you perhaps give me a hint what bug it is?

I'm sorry for the late reply, but this means you have another mod active that is editing the same files as mine, and thus conflicting and overriding it and causing the hair not to load in those areas. You can remedy this by clicking on my mod in your frosty mods list in the mod manager so it highlights, then use the arrow buttons on the frosty interface below or above the other mods, try putting it below the other mods first, if that doesn't work, try putting it above, instead (frosty has updated since I last used it so I don't know if the direction for mod priority has changed.)

Do note though, that doing so will override whatever edits were made to those same files within the mod that was conflicting with mine, so the other mod may that was conflicting may not work fully anymore, so be aware of that.

    Hello there!

First of all, I want to say that your work is amazing. Thank you so much!

I'm wondering how I can obtain the divine helmet for my Inquisitor, seen and considered that "the divine helmet = earrings set". I've tried using a swapping mod so that another helmet looks like the divine one, but it hasn't worked. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks again! :

Oh, nevermind! I started another gameplay and your beautiful earrings already appeared without a problem during character creation! It's very likely that my previous Inquisitor, who was wearing Isabela's coat as armor, caused some issues, which is why the piercings and earrings didn't show up.
Thank you anyway, and, still...your mod is awesome!

I've found that the gold earring set of this mod is incompatible with Craftable Skyhold PJ Recipes for Frosty as it makes the body invisible when equipping Ameridan's armor. Is there any solution to fix that or do I just simply have to choose which mod that I want to use?

This mod doesn't edit the same files as my mod. So as far as I can see, they are compatible, but the description of that mod states that:
"If the appearance of the Skyhold outfit is changed, through mods, or the wardrobe the armour will reflect that."

so probably your conflict lies within a different mod that is changing the skyhold outfit in some way, and since the craftable skyhold pj armour recipes inherits whatever appearance the skyhold pjs currently are using, it's going invisible because whatever skyhold pj replacer you have is clashing with my mod and thus causing the invisible body. so, the clash isn't with the craftable pjs mod, it's a clash with whatever skyhold pj mod you are using.

or that's my hypothesis, anyways. i haven't tested the the theory in-game. you can test the theory yourself if you'd like, by just running the craftable pjs and my earrings at the same time and nothing else and see if the armour appears.

if it does, then we know it's not an inherent clash with that mod you linked, but something else.

I tested the theory as you suggested but as I suspected I'm unfortunately still encountering the floating head and invisible body with just those two mods enabled together. I'd done some previous tests with your mod + the pj replacers and the pj replacers + craftable pjs in my attempts to locate the issue and it was working fine so it seems it's just your mod and the mod I linked that has the issue. Given that it's not editing the same files I don't really know why the issue is occurring, I'm quite baffled to be honest.

You and me both. You could try deleting the ModData folder just to check that frosty isn't accidentally keeping some previous mods enabled (sometimes it does that) but if it persists even after that, then...What skyhold armour replacer are you using? If any. Besides the craftable skyhold PJs one. Because there might be another possibility, but, it depends on the mod you want to use.

Well, deleting the ModData folder didn't do anything. Would have been so nice if it had fixed it. The skyhold pj replacer I'm currently using is the alienage 05 - Skyhold replacer from Elf Pajama Replacers by KittenTails and the gold filigree retexture from Alienage05 Retextures by femshepping.

Okay, so whilst that mod is technically a skyhold replacer, it doesn't replace the 3d models and textures for the skyhold outfit directly - instead, it re-routes the appearance of the skyhold outfit to a different, separate armour that has had it's own models and textures directly replaced by said mod - namely, Isabela's armour.

So, DragonPyromania's mod re-routes the appearance of Ameridan's armour to that of the skyhold armour. If you still want Ameridan's armour to look like Kittentails alienage outfit, whilst having my piercings load in on the outfit, you could uninstall the current craftable skyhold mod, and instead make your own mod that re-routes the appearance of Ameridan's armour to Isabela's, and since the alienage outfit also replaces Isabela's armour, it should load in with that appearance.

you'll need frosty editor to do that with, you can get it here, do note that the first time you open up the editor, it will take a loooong time to load, because it needs to generate a cache of every single asset in the game, but it's a one time thing so just wait it out and eventually it will open.

once it has opened, the files you'll want depend on the class of your inquisitor. as there are different copies of the ameridan armour files for different classes. you can edit them all at once if you like, or just edit the one for the same class as your inquisitor if you want to save time.

the files are as follows, they are all ItemPartAppearance files:
      dlc1_part_app_armor_medium_last_inquisitor - Ameridan's armour for rogues
      dlc1_part_app_armor_light_last_inquisitor - Ameridan's armour for mages
      dlc1_part_app_armor_heavy_last_inquisitor - Ameridan's armour for warriors

double click on the names of each file to open them up in the editor.

then you'll want to copy over the values for the appearance of isabela's armour. you can do so by copying over what is called the DelayLoadBundleHash for the armour, which is basically just a string of numbers that represent the appearance of an armour or armour piece.

the DelayLoadBundleHash for Isabela's outfit that is replaced by the alienage outfit mod is 1761038353, you can copy that value over to the elf female inquisitor entries for the Ameridan armour with help of this tutorial. ignore the parts about EquipItemAsset files.

I think that should work. But I've not tested it, so, you can find out.

This worked perfectly! I never made a mod before but your explanation was easy to follow and thank you for providing the video guide and the number string for Isabela's armor. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and to help figure out how to solve the issue, now I can have all the mods working together like I wanted to.

what mods did you try? works fine for me with...

      These Prologue Armour Replacers:
"TMM Starting Armours - Multiplayer" file from immersive starting armours (replaces mercenary coat/green coat prologue armour with isabela's vest with boots on human female.)

"TMM Starting Armours - Multiplayer - Optional Variants" > file "TMMStartingArmoursIsabela2" from within that download, also from immersive starting armours (replaces mercenary coat/green coat prologue armour with isabela's cape and trousers outfit on human female.)

"TMM Starting Armours - Multiplayer - Optional Variants" > file "TMMStartingArmoursIsabela3" from within that download, also from immersive starting armours (replaces mercenary coat/green coat prologue armour with isabela's blue trenchcoat.)

      These Skyhold Armour Replacers:
"multiplayer outfits" > file "mp_isabela_coat_pjs" from within that download, from the Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements page, which replaces the human female beige suit skyhold outfit ("pjs"), with isabela's blue trenchcoat, with terracotta trousers.

"multiplayer outfits" > file "mp_isabela_coat_v2_pjs" from within that download, from the Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements page, which replaces the human female beige suit skyhold outfit ("pjs"), with isabela's blue trenchcoat, this time coloured in orange on the lapels, green on the trousers, and a darker blue on the main body of the coat.

"multiplayer outfits" > file "mp_isabela_dueling_leathers_pjs" from within that download, from the Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements page, which replaces the human female beige suit skyhold outfit ("pjs"), with isabela's cape and trousers outfit on human female.

"multiplayer outfits" > file "mp_isabela_outfit_pjs" from within that download, from the Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements page, which replaces the human female beige suit skyhold outfit ("pjs"), with isabela's vest and boots outfit on human female, with green sash around hips, and orange vest.

"multiplayer outfits" > file mp_isabela_outfit_v2_pjs" from within that download, from the Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements page, which replaces the human female beige suit skyhold outfit ("pjs"), with isabela's vest and boots outfit on human female, with blue sash around hips, and white vest.

      These Formalwear Replacers:
"formal replacements" > file  "mp_isabela_coat_v2_formal" from within that download, from the Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements page, which replaces the inquisitor's red suit outfit at the winter palace, with isabela's blue trenchcoat, this time coloured in orange on the lapels, green on the trousers, and a darker blue on the main body of the coat.

....i got bored of testing different armours after a while, so there are probably more isabela armour mods it works with too, but those are the ones i've tested, anyways.

I'm having the same problem with formal armor replacers and invisible armors.

Example: When I run Invisible armor replacer for 'The Skin That' from https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/956, together with your piercing mod - I run the first through Dai Modmanager and yours through Frosty - then the armor replacer doesn't show.

When I run both through Frosty, the effect toggles with the load order: the mod that's beneath the other in the load order shows. So, loading Piercings after The Skin That makes that the invisible armor doesn't work (i.e. the intended armor is shown) and when I switch the load order, the invisible armor works but no piercings.

      Hope that helps.

Edit: I really love this mod, btw!  Great work! \m/_

Hello, the armour replacer mod I linked in the previous comment does also have an option for the skin that stalks as either formalwear or PJs, both are which are compatible with this mod.

I would suggest you try with that mod with instead of the one you are currently using.

for wearing the skin that stalks armour as formalwear, click here to go the link, then download the:
"formal replacements" file in the optional files > pick one of the files that have "the_taken_shape" in the name, there are different variants for different colour combinations, you can refer to the images section of the mods page to see what number variant corresponds with what colour scheme.

for wearing the skin that stalks armour as PJs, go to the same page as I linked before, then...
download the "DLC outfits" file from the optional files > use the "taken_shape_pjs.daimod" file from within it.

Thank you but unfortunately, this is not about trying to replace the Formal wear armor with The Skin That armor (I only use The Skin That to be replaced by Invisible Armor). It's about having the PJs and armor you wear look identical, which - in my case - is about Isabela Dueling Leathers (IDL). Point by point:

      • Skyhold outfit and formal replacements doesn't have the option to replace the Formal Wear armor with IDL, it only has the short Isabela dress (the one with the head scarf)
      • Every other Formal Wear armor replacer I found replaces the piercings (IDL and other armors)
      • Invisble Armor replacers make the piercings disappear
      • Non-replacing armors make the piercings disappear (such as those from Trespasser Skyhold PJ Replacer and Schematics)
      • Starting Armor replacers work fine with your piercings but this isn't about starting armors
      • PJ replacers work fine with your piercings

What I did to try and make this work is:

      • Install IDL PJ replacer: piercings are visible
      • Install Armor replacer: piercings are visible but armor isn't OR armor is visible but piercings disappear, depending on the load order)

If you want to make your own mod with the Isabela formalwear that's compatible with this one, there is also a tutorial here on that.

As it stands, there's nothing more I can really suggest to you beyond using or making a different outfit mod that is compatible with it, as currently there are only 3 methods I personally know of to make headgear appear in cutscenes.

And of the two methods that I didn't use, one of them isn't a mod for the mod manager, and neither of those 2 other methods work in the winter palace, and thus would not fulfill your desire for equipping the piercings with an altered formalwear.

thanks ^^ and the hair i converted is actually all bald under the bandana. it could be mashed up with some other hair to hide the bald spot, but aah, that job has kind of already been done by others:

      for elf female by colorbled
also for elf female and every other race and sex combo by padme4000

different colours for the earrings would be simple enough though, what did you have in mind?

Thanks a bunch! Yeah, that definitely sounds like a lot of work. O.O I'll definitely check those out though!

For the earrings, I was thinking just silver or maybe one of the metals from in-game (I'm allergic to gold so I am admittedly biased when accessorizing characters lol).

i added 3 new colour options for those piercings in the "extra metal colours add-on" file available in the optional files section, you can see the images to see what the colours look like. the image shows what it looks like on the lilac tikka set, but it can also works with the gold earrings set you mentioned, as well as the lone septum, and the gold earrings with the septum combination file.

there is silver, rose gold (not actually gold, that's just the name of the colour, it's like a dusty pink), and copper.

load the add-on beneath the main mod for expected results (click on add-on in your applied mods list, then click the down arrow on the frosty interface until it's below the main mod.)
