What about your own mesh? For some reason, I don't have an import button available.

I'm still uncertain how to swap one npc with the look of another. For example, I'd like to change all of my inquisition soldiers into either gray wardens or templars. Any idea how can I do that?

Hi! Thank you for the tutorial! I can make my inquisitor using morrigan hair!
But few question tough, I play as a rogue.. There's few weird animation problem, is it fixable or not?

    1. When using stealth, hair won't be invisible
    2. Animation when using Deathblow and Sneak attacks looks weird, like this --> https://i.imgur.com/FWQv4yQ.png

Can it be fixed? Thanks before

sadly, npc armours/hairs don't work for some reason while in stealth/fadestep modes, so that can't be fixed yet T_T as for the T-posing during attacks, i'm afraid that's a common glitch, i get it too. sadly there isn't much that can be done about these bugs yet, this is a very new area of modding still

Oh well, thanks for the info... As for the weird animation, so far (western approach), it only appear on Exalted Plains and Fallow Mire, Everywhere else is fine though. But as for someone new to modding, I'm happy enough I can replace the inquisitor's hair. Thank you for the tutorial :D

Btw, is it work on elf as well right?
And can it show on chargen menu?

This is great! Thank you for putting this here! Tutorial seems very idiotproof so hopefully I'll be able to follow it

I have a question tho: method about swapping Inquisitors hair to NPCs(companions)?

i imagine it's the same process, just in reverse! swap an inquisitor hair mesh into the morphbp for an npc, and add the appropriate bundles to wherever you want them. we know it's doable, since mods that give vivienne and solas hair have also been done, though it's all still early days. but in theory this method should work on everyone, i've recently come to discover that actually the initial 'base' hairstyle thing is irrelevant, you can swap out whatever hair you want, and as long as the bundles are done correctly it should work. ^_^ happy modding!
