hi im extremely new to modding da2 and such and I was wondering how I get the update file to work? Do I just plop it into the override file, because that doesnt seem to be working so im thinking im missing something. Any feedback would be great!

I have another mod (currently hidden while I work on some updates, called Ferelden Fashion) that does this already, I'm running some updates to the mod itself. It should be ready to post in a few days, and it'll include this one as replacer options for Bethany and Carver
Hi! Love your mods and use them all the time. I have a minor problem: I'd love to use the original colors of this mod but the textures are messed up a tad. My Hawke's chest is darker than her skin and her hands are grey. (Playing a medium tan brown Hawke.) I downloaded the fix but I only get the darker version of the apostate armor (which I still adore btw) but not the light grey one with the pink scarf. Trying the FAA fix along with the original colors still gives me the darker outfit shown in your images. I tried to fix it myself with gff but it keeps coming out the same after creating the new erf. I can't get pygff source to work on my computer, alongside Gff despite it being high end (need to figure it out).

Huh. Weird as heck. I know there are tinting issues with the original skin files I used, and I wonder if it's connected; let me work on it a little bit tonight, and I'll get back to you. I'm so sorry that's happening.
Okay 1) this is amazing! I've been looking for a pretty Act 1 outfit that doesn't look too fancy for ages, and this is perfect. Thank you so much for making them!
but 2) I had the same issue as the above person re; grey hands and shoulders. I tried the fix you posted and something terrible happened lmao:

Omg. It's okay, there's a simple fix for that too! What you did was make a type in one of the .mao lines for the skin. I'm uploading a fix for it later. But, hey! I like the determination, it's a good attitude to have
Hey there - love love love the armor! I can barely imagine my Hawke wearing anything else now, this is just so perfect for her. Anyway, I tried the fix for the grey hands and shoulders and wound up with the same issue as thistlebell and sadly, no amount of determination has gotten it to work. Could you explain the fix for that in a little more detail? Thanks!

This is really great !!! on male hawke it looks absolutely awesome but when i put it on female it looks exactly like third picture, her hands and chest are grey. It is the same for both textures. Maybe it's just me, sadly i don't know where the problem is and can't find a way to fix it myself. Regardless this is great mod and I'm going to use it anyway and endorse !!!
As for the hand and chest issue, that's... weird. Here's my suggestion - because I had errors with getting the male skin texture to work (for some reason it kept applying the scarf on fhawke to the fore arms?).
1) download the pygff editor, use this to extract the full contents of the folder to a new folder. 2) Locate the fHawke folder (FAA > art > characters > playercharacter > humanfemale) 3) Using the pygff editor, open the file arm_ferel.mmh, expand all the lines till you find the line 'armorm1' 4) change the lines 'art\characters\playercharacter\shared\textures\bdy_nud' to say 'art\characters\playercharacter\humanmale\textures\cvr_nud', hitting the save button below the box with each change 5) Go to file > save 6) using an ERF packer (pygff editor should come with one, or you can google for one) repack the folders keeping the folder hierarchy in tact, put it into your override
sorry if those instructions seem a little overkill/kindergarten, I have no idea if you've used the save game editor before yourself. Alternatively I'm about to upload a fix w/ that if it's a little intimidating. The cvr_nud points to a nude skin in the male directory and is what I used to fix the mHawke arm issue
It worked! Thank you!!!! Ahh no no your instructions are just perfect, I am new to pygff editor and I've been mostly using it to mess with morphs so that thing is still very complicated for me. You are amazing, TY again for helping me and of course for creating this mod I love it!!
