If you can't run the installer version of the mod, there is a manual install override version on the download page. (Look for Dragon Age Redesigned Manual Version 1.0, under 'Optional'. I recommend keeping the PDF document from the installer download, since that explains the various options and is not included in the manual install download.) ============
To install the manual version of DA Redesigned: Download 'Dragon Age Redesigned Manual Version 1.0' from the 'Optional' files area.
Unzip that archive.
Move or copy the Dracomies Textures folder into the game's override folder (Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override). Dracomies Textures must be installed, as omitting that component will result in issues with the morph files, like shiny silver/grey skins and milky white eyes.)
To use one of the general NPC replacer morph options, choose one of the three folders inside the 'Versions (Lore, Aesthetics, Recommended)' folder, and copy or move it to the override folder.
If either the 'Aesthetics' or 'Recommended' options were installed in the previous step, then download and install the tucked hair mod, which is required by those non-companion NPC morphs. (See below for a step-by-step on installing tucked hair.)
If you want to use DAR companion replacer morphs, download and install any required mods for them. Copy or move the folders for your preferredcompanion morphs into the override folder. (There are either documents or image files in the folders with the companion morphs, that list any additional requirements.
Unzip the downloaded archive (tuckedhair.zip). If you just want the hairs required for DA Redesigned, then unzip the tucked_hair.zip archive, and put that in your override folder. You don't need the earring hairs or the chargenmorphcfg.xml for the NPC morphs.
If you want to use the basic 'tucked hair' styles for your player character, then you'll need to also install the chargenmorphcfg.xml file. If you are using any other cosmetic mods in chargen, you'll need to merge the chargenmorphcfg.xml files for all those mods... there can only be one chargenmorphcfg.xml file in override.
If you want the earring hairs (for your player character), also place that unzipped folder in override. The earring styles aren't included in the included chargenmorphcfg.xml. You can find my mergable chargen xml for both the tucked hair and earring hair styles elsewhere on the Nexus: tucked hair chargenmorphcfg (including earring styles); there may be other similar files from other modders. Again, if you are using any other mods for chargen, then the combined tucked + earring hair xml should be merged with the other cosmetic XMLs.
If character morphs from DAR have 'white' eyes, then the required Dracomies True Textures component has not been correctly installed. When the textures are correctly installed, by the installer, there will be a file named 'Dracomies Textures VI.erf' in the root of the game's override folder (\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override).
If you used the executable installer, then run it again and choose the option to install the textures.
If you are using the manual version of the mod, then simply place the the 'Dracomies Textures' folder in the game's override folder.
My recommendation would be to NOT use the EXE version, and to instead manually install the mod.
What you've described is most commonly caused by having a flawed installation of Improved Atmosphere, which omitted the required IA 2.0 RC1 Fixpack 6 (found in a sticky post on the IA comments tab). It could, however, also be caused by another conflicting mod; a complete list of installed mods would help narrow down the possible cause.
To eliminate DAR as the cause of the issue, just remove the hm_bhm100_jowan.mor file from the DAR folder; if Jowan does not revert to his vanilla Bioware morph, then the issue is with another mod.
If you read through the many pages of comments, somewhere there are posts by Dracomies to the effect that the Morrigan final version morph was a WIP, that it was never released, and the files no longer exist.
For all that is holy, I cannot get this mod to work. I followed everything to the letter and yet it is not changing anything in my game. I made sure to start with a clean installation so that nothing would conflict and made sure to have the correct 'Tucked Hair' mods installed as well, but the 'Aesthetic' version of this mod just won't work with my game. What am I doing wrong? :(
What is the file path of the override folder your mods are installed to? Are you using the executable installer version of DA Redesigned, or the manual installation version?
I installed a different design for Leliana but her skin was white and she had no hair. After uninstalling it, she was still broken. Is there a fix for this?
What 'different design'? Is if from DAR or another mod? If it is from DAR, which Leliana version was it? Did you search your entire override folder for instances of hf_genfl_leliana.mor and remove them all?
White/silvery grey skin means a skin texture required by a morph has not been installed. Missing hair means the hairstyle used by a morph is absent. Always be sure to read any documentation for a modded morph, and make sure all requirements are installed.

The Dragon Age Redesigned Version 7.3c.exe isn't launching on my Windows 11.
Doesn't show the proper icon either (just a blank)
Is there a solution how to launch an older .exe file on Win 11?
Thanks.
