(surrounded by dead werewolves is not the most romantic time to give me your rose, Alistair!!)
Now, clicking on followers (except Dog) outside of a party camp will just make them or the PC say one of a few soundset lines (similar to in DA2 or Origins' DLCs).
Dialogs that trigger by location or other means shouldn't be affected.
There are a few exceptions for unique dialog:
Oghren only: Spoiled Princess, during Felsi quest
Party: Ostagar (daytime) during prelude, Fort Drakon during 'Captured'
In Awakening and the other DLCs, followers will say one of their location-specific lines (like in vanilla) or a line from their soundset.
I'm considering this still a bit experimental because it works by partially overriding "event_type_dialogue". Scripting notes seem to indicate that this event is sent whenever a dialog starts, either by clicking on an NPC or by triggers/scripting, but it actually only seems to fire for the former (which is great for the purposes of this mod!).
So, if you do notice anything amiss, please tell me the NPC involved and in what area. ;)
Alternate versions (under 'Miscellaneous')
--Silent version - only get silence when clicking on a companion outside of camp (Origins only, and not including Dog).
No time for chit-chat when there's righteous Grey Wardening to be done!
--No Leliana Exceptions - the script always runs for Leliana, even in places with unique conversations (the only one that sets any plot flags is one in Orzammar about nugs). Use alongside Get That Woman a Nug to make it possible to buy her a nug anyway. ;)
Will conflict with any other mods that overwrite line 18 (EVENT_TYPE_DIALOGUE) of engineevents.gda, but I'm unaware of any (Qwinn's Ultimate Fixpack, Dain's Fixes, and Dragon Age Rules Fixpack should all be compatible).
Does not edit any actual dialog or sound files, and so should be completely compatible with mods that edit those.
