    Announcements [26/04/2024]

Notice: Bad news, I think I might stop adding/updating mods on Nexus. The new colour theme direction Nexus is going is murder on my eyes, so my high activity to help with troubleshooting and providing more mods just won't be possible. The high contrast will just be too much eye strain. Sorry guys. I am debating on finishing up my last project or not, or migrating to another modding site.

Nexus closed the top beta concerns thread on the feedback board and locked the beta feedback posts, including one I had made. They are shutting down anyway for people to give feedback on the top issues (one they reconsidered after some backlash on the feedback board).

I am done. Unless more/other people complain (aka enough backlash), they clearly just don't want to hear it from me specifically, I see no reason to stay on the site. For now I am just going to lock all comments sections since I will not be providing any more troubleshooting as long as Nexus plans to implement this high contrast theme. I can just move on to other projects and sites. I may remove all my mods off nexus eventually too. Sorry to disappoint everyone but I am very disappointed and disheartened at nexus, this is no longer a place that brings me joy.

Thank you for all the support.

This mod makes me want to play the game again…You have no idea how hard I tried to fix the missing hand texture on Bethany’s robe, but couldn’t figure out how, since it looked fine in the .dds file…🤣

It is all thanks to commanderstrawberry, apparently it had something to do with the original creator having the hands separate from the rest of the exposed skin, something that cannot be fixed via the .dds file. I guess it only called up the first section of skin and didn't do the hands, but that, along with the white lod2 range error—almost the entire model was replaced to fix it XD

I really like the idea of this mod, however, I'm having a bit of a hard time getting my head around the description. I already have Loincloth Fashion, Kirkwall Exports, Bethany Robe Replacer - Female Robe new models, Male Circle Robe Replacers ( Robes of the void ) and Inquisition Mage Armour installed from before I found this mod. Do I have to delete any of these? Are any of them included here and are thus now redundant? Is there any files I have to delete from kirkwall exports or loincloth fashion? Is is as easy as dumping these in the override folder with a higher priority than the original mods. Sorry for my confusion. Really like your mods and am really excited for your new release 'hopefully' later this week! Thanks for any help you can provide!

You do not have to delete anything from Loincloth Fashion. I made this so you can have original mods Loincloth Fashion, Kirkwall Exports, Bethany Robe Replacer - Female Robe new models, Male Circle Robe Replacers ( Robes of the void ) and Inquisition Mage Armour. You can use all or just Loincloth Fashion, Kirkwall Exports, and this mod. But it doesn't hurt to endorse the mods that helped make this mod, without them we wouldn't have this mod at all.

But for Kirkland Exports, you would have to delete the Bethany Robe files that are duplicates, just because it is multiple fixes and improvements. Which is almost if not all of them by this point, originally it was just the MAO file to fix the issue with the robe turning white at a distance, and then a fix for the mismatched skin toned hands, which were even more files. Just replace original Bethany Robe files with the files from this mod but do not delete any files that are not duplicates. You might get away with alternatively putting this mod's version at a higher priority than KE.

I do not think anything else needs to be deleted, they are just extending the files.

Brilliant, thanks a lot for the detailed and helpful reply! Can't wait for return to Ferelden, hopefully the scripting hasn't driven you mad yet! All the best!

      Np!

Testing at them moment! My friend was suppose to help me but they have serious real life stuff going on, so I am solo testing atm, and a bit behind. But minimal snags so far, I am hoping some time next week :) worst case early July.

    Awesome :)
May I suggest using Sapphim's inquisition keeper robe port as a female version of the keeper robe, as it has the coat?

I don't see their permissions on use.  I think Ladyofpayne had a similar port, but there was no human female version for that either. But I may do other swap out options eventually.

It says this at the bottom of the linked post:

"the files are free to use in your own mods with credit"

Finally, this has been a headache for a long time, and has made me not use KE or LCF models for my custom items, since they were rather restricted to either race and/or gender. Thanks! :-)
I realize it will require quite some work, but I hope it is possible to make a cross-mod integration of the leather armors and metal armors at one point too.

The thanks goes to those with more free permissions and who gave permission. I will try to expand the scope but only if I can find connections. Also, I hope with the next Dragon Age installment coming, that more people might think about modding for DAO again adding more options to the pool :)
