Please use the older version of Dalishious's Skin Tints, the files needed are in that version not in the newer one. https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4619
The newest DA2 Version of Isabela requires the skin tint file dl_skn_534 from Dalishious's Skin Tints mod, it is listed incorrectly in the download.
Edit: I fixed it by just adding the entire Dalishious Real Skin folder with all 45 tints, so it looks like there's a mistake in the instructions for DA2 Isabela, the required file is not dl_skn_539.tnt but another one. Now it looks great, thanks for the mod.
I am glad you got everything figured out, the skin tint file for the DA2 Isabela version is dl_skn_534, the skin tint listed in the download is for another version of Isabela, it was a mistake. Added a note to the sticky post in the thread for future people to see. Hope you have a good day!
I am having an issue with Isabela's skin tint. Specifically, the tint appears to apply correctly to her face, hands, and left forearm. On the rest of her body, it is much darker and redder. It seems to me that the Dalishious tint is being applied on top of an already existing skin tint on the body, since Isabela's body looked normal when I experimentally deleted the Dalishious tint. But of course without that file, Isabela's face has no tint and turns ghostly pale. I don't suppose you'd know what the problem is and how to fix?
EDIT: I did some testing and I can get your "old DA2 Isabela" and VagranDreamer's "Isabela Appearance Overhaul" to work, both of which utilize more files from the Isabela and Flemeth to DAO mod than just the hair folder, so I guess the problem has something to do with how you changed the mod in the newer versions. I really like the Brand New Isabela the most, though, so it's a shame I can't figure this out by myself. :p
EDIT 2: I couldn't give up on this five minute encounter with a beautiful lady, so I eventually figured out that the mod conflicts with something in the Viva la Orlais mod's Armor folder. Since I wasn't using it, I just deleted the whole folder. Hope this helps someone else.
I'm glad you figured out the issue because I wasn't experiencing the same issue with either her new or old morphs. For the newer version of her the armor is from a different mod than the one I used for the original. I also don't use the Viva Orlais mod, it conflicts with too many other mods that I use, which is why you are having the issue here. The real conflict you had isn't with my mod, since the face morph is what I made, the armor/body is another modder all I did was adjust Isabela's UTI file so that the other modders armor would show up in game. I am glad you like the mod though if you did want to use the newer one and still use the Viva Orlais mod, you can just download the older version of Isabela and replace the mor file in that version with the new one I made. She will end up having the newer face I made but having the armor/body from the mod that Hsli made as the UTI file in the older Isabela mod will pull up that armor instead. Hope that helps out :-D
That is what I ultimately ended up doing: Hsli base mod and custom daggers + VagranDreamer HD outfit textures + your face morph. It was a lot of work for how minor a character she is in DAO, but I think it might well be the best combination of mods! Thanks!
That isn't an issue with this mod, this only works for Isabela's base appearance. Since that mod adds Isabela into another instance into the game that appearance will have a different outfit utc file. I do not use that mod so I did not add an armor file for it, that is why she doesn't show up in the same outfit. You might want to see if the mod maker for Isle of Dreams would be willing to link her outfit to the armor mod I did. Otherwise there is no issue here, this is for Isabela's base game appearance. Hope that Helps :-D
No problem, I hope that helps. If she is a playable character in that mod, you should be able to equip the armor yourself too. There is a console code for the armor parts that will add it to your inventory.
That would be a good comment to leave on Hsli’s page as they were the person who ported Isabela’s body into the game. I only made the face, so I can’t fix body models.
Thank you! I could but it wouldn't look the same in the character creation screen. The toolset has more sliders and custom options that enabled me to make the face look the way it does. Putting Isabela into the character creation screen would alter the face because the character creator doesn't have all the slider options that the toolset does. Basically it would always look a bit off from the mor file I created.
Yeah, I know. Still it is a nice base for a custom character, I think. I'd change the hair and tweak her a bit, so that she wouldn't be Isabela's long lost twin. Your Isabela has a nice profile and a beautiful nose that are hard to achieve on many presets for human females in the character creator. I know that presets made in toolset have more precise sliders, but I still like to tinker with them in-game.
Sadly Isabela won't change her appearance for me. :( But the DA2 Isabela and Flemeth mod by hsli hasn't worked for me before either, so that's likely the reason. Even though I had it installed before I started this current playthrough. Flemeth also just appeared as her vanilla-self sadly. Do you know if I need any updated files to get the other mod to work? Just an idea since that mod is from 2011. hsli doesn't seem to be active anymore so I can't ask them... Though your Isabela morph seems to be the best from the screenshots at least :') ! So it would be wonderful if I could get it to work somehow, wouldn't want to start a new game after 35 hours of game play lol.
Do you perhaps have multiple Isabela mor files? Because that would be the only reason my Isabela’s face and hair wouldn’t appear if you had them both in the override folder. This would also be the case for Flemeth. If you have duplicates the mods won’t work. If you have mods like Dragon Age redesigned or Improved Atmosphere installed they include a mor file for Isabela and Flemeth, that can’t be in your override folder because it will override my mod and Hsli. I would check to see if you have duplicates. You also don’t want to have duplicate utc files either for Isabela. The utc file for Isabela pulls up the armor and my mor file which is titled differently than Isabela’s typical tag. So in your override folder search for Isabela’s name.
I had removed the file that you mentioned in the Readme, but you're right, I had duplicates in other mods. After I deleted the following files from other mods, your morph would load finally:
More NPCs: uh_hed_Morri_0n.dds uh_hed_Morri_0d.dds pn_eye_khbrown_0d.dds pf_ulm_elbas_0d.dds uh_tat_khfreck_0t.dds
However, while the morph worked, her skin appears to be a lot brighter in my game. So I'm not sure if that's just a lighting issue or if a wrong texture loaded for her skin. Can you tell me which skin file she needs? Maybe it's missing in my folder.
**EDIT: NVM, I FOUND THE FILE in the readme! THANK YOU!
I'm actually impressed. DA2 Isabela had a somewhat feline quality to her that is difficult to replicate, even on DA2's game engine. That you managed to do that in Origins is worthy of praise.
Thank you! It took a lot of work and learning in the toolset. My original Isabela mod wasn't perfect but I kept tweaking and found the right combination of materials.

But otherwise a very good Mod, thanks for making this.
Or are you referring to Marjolaine? The person that Leliana encounters in Denerim Market?
Thank you.

Improved Atmosphere:

Amazing Isabela mod!!
