Somehow NPCs keep arndomly losing hair for me. I googled and read for some people it helped to Install Tucked Hair and include the CharGenMorph. Did not work for me. NPCs are still suffering random hair loss.^^
The chargenmorphcfg.xml file doesn't affect NPCs at all; it is only used by game when creating a new player character, to assign slider positions to the various assets. (Hence the name of the file - char/character gen/generator morph/self explanatory) cfg/configuration.)
When you say 'random hair loss', is it hair that appears and disappears, or hair that never appears? If it is the latter, then you are probably missing required supporting mods for the NPC morphs you've installed.
If it were hair suddenly appearing/disappearing at a certain distance, I'd say it was a normal LOD 'pop', where the engine shifts between the detailed main files and the less detailed files for distance viewing. But vanilla hair appearing or not, based on camera angle is something I cannot explain, other than to say it's not caused by a mod and adding mods you aren't using won't fix it.
Sorry I don't have any answers. :( You might want to post in the troubleshooting area of the DAO forums; you'll get more help there than from the comments area of a mod that's unrelated to the issue.
Hi! Where would I install this in my files? \Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override was my first guess but I don't want to be wrong! Thank you
My Lord Vehk!
If you aren't using any other non-replacer cosmetic mods in the Character Creator or you don't already have a chargenmorphcfg.xml file in the override folder, then yes, it can go directly into the manual override directory (\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override).
If you DO already have a chargenmorphcfg.xml file in that location or are using other (non-replacer) cosmetic mods in the Character Creator, then my file should be placed in the tucked hair mod folder before running the CharGenMorph Compiler utility. (You can't have more than one chargenmorphcfg.xml file in the override directory, hence the need for compiling them all into one XML.)

I adore you for this! I was just about to start a new playtrough from the beginning but I really wanted this hairstyle to work in my game but I kept messing it up. Thank you for this, i'm going to use it right away!
My apologies... I've had uploading this on my 'to do' list for months, and kept putting it off because I didn't have a screenshot to use. (The Nexus now requires at least one image upload for every mod.)
Haha, it's not your fault, just my bad luck. Still, this will be really handy for anyone who downloads the tucked hair mod and wonders why it isn't working ;)

Constructive criticism is fine. Informing me that you personally have no use for a mod is of no value.
I also have that linked on the mod Description tab; just click on 'Requirements'.
