=================
DESCRIPTION:
=================

Main Files contains the fixed version of Slinks S3 RAVage [latest version]. Details on fixes below.

1. Main Files contains 2 files for Slinks S3 RAVage Origins AND Awakening, both must be installed separately and manually, see installations for details. Notes : Fixed spawn related bugs regarding "Elven Healer" and "Zombie Priest".

2. Main Files contains my own fully optimized Slinks S3 RAVage Package Files that restores stamina regeneration back to vanilla gameplay. (and a few other things like increased the health cap)

3. Optional files contains a RAVage Extended Difficulty mod by me that fits exactly with the following mods and doesn't conflict with them. Warning !!! This mod is for hardcore difficulty fans and not for softcore players.
Compatible with : GT Core Rules Fixpack, Power of Blood fixes, Awakening in the OC, Personal Annoyance Remover by Rekicker, Find Vitals fixes.
Not compatible with : Combat Tweaks.

4. Optional files ALSO contains a Consumption Cooldown Extended Mod for all consumptions and it should be installed with my difficulty mod to have full potential. For both DAA and DAO.
Not compatible with : Shared Cooldown mod.

5. Optional files contains a little something special from me that removes the "Haste" spell persistent animation (the white snowflakes) since Rekicker's PAR doesn't do that, and in addition the file also removes Aura of Pain's persistent animation and the ripple effects from that spell.

6. Main files will ALSO have 2 extra manifest.xml for those that want to copy&paste their Slinks S3 RAVage entries for their addins.xml. This option is not for beginners, you should know what you are doing if you download this, I AM NOT responsible if you mess up your game. Read "EXTRAS" for more info.

=================
INSTALLATION:
=================

All different types of installations will be listed here.

For Main Files, just place them in your addins folder if you know where that is, if it asks you to replace the folder just click yes.
For those that don't know where addins folder is, its here...[My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Addins > !Place them here!]
For Main Files, I also have the Awakening version of Slinks S3 RAVage but you need to make your own entry in your [Settings > addins.xml] file. A tutorial down below will show you how to do this.

For Main Files Slinks Packages (Origins) they go to your [My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Packages > Core > Data > !Place them here!]
If it asks you to replace the files just click yes.
For Main Files Slinks Packages (Awakening) they go to the same directory as above without replacing anything, just paste them if you want both awakening and origins installed.

For Main Files Slinks Manifest they do not go anywhere, you must copy the "AddInItem" and the contents from that folder within the .xml and paste it to your addins.xml under "AddInsList".

For Optional RAVage Extended Difficulty Mod, Consumption Cooldown Extended Mod, and Haste/Aura of Pain PAR, they go inside your override folder.

<======================================================================================================================================>
!!!WARNING!!!IF YOU DON'T UPDATE YOUR ADDINS.XML MANUALLY YOUR GAME WILL NOT RECOGNIZE ANY CHANGES MADE BY THIS MOD, YOU MUST UPDATE YOUR ADDINS.XML!!!WARNING!!!

EXTRAS:
=================

For those who wants to customize their addins.xml with modified versions of Slinks S3 RAVage you can do it if you know how. I don't feel like explaining it, but if you know how to edit XML files you will know what I'm talking about.
I uploaded 2 versions of manifest.xml files in Main Files for people who wants to just copy and paste the entries for "AddInItem", just make sure you delete your old entries first yea? Thanks fellas.

TUTORIAL:
=================

This is a tutorial for adding another alternate version of Slinks S3 Awakening ALONGSIDE your existing one, in this case, its Origins.
The following steps are foolproof even for beginners, please follow with care.
Programs required : XML editor. If you don't have it, get it.

1. Make a backup of your addins.xml from your settings folder. If you do not know where that is...[My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Settings > Addins.xml]
2. Make sure you have installed your current version of Slinks S3 RAVage Origins and open the addins.xml WITH the XML editor, press Ctrl + F, type in RAVage (case sensitive), you should be able to find an entry of Slinks RAVage from your listings.
3. Now you highlight the folder in which Slinks RAVage belongs to (only one folder) the folder name is all "AddInItem" so make sure you get the right one, and after highlighting (the highlight should be blue) you right click it and click duplicate.
4. Now you click the duplicate version of the folder you just highlighted. Click the "+" marker to expand it. Change the "UID" and "Name" entries to "slinks_s3_awake". (original is "slinks_s3")
5. Now you change the "ExtendedModuleUID" to "DAO_PRC_EP_1". (original is "Single Player")
6. Paste the downloaded Slinks S3 Awakening to your AddIns folder. [My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Addins > !Place them here!]
Make sure the folder name is "slinks_s3_awake", and DO NOT CHANGE the folder name, the folder name should be like that when you extract the zip file, so if its not like that, you have to open up the folder and find that name and then cut&paste it.
7. Paste the downloaded Slinks S3 Awakening Packages in your Packges folder. [My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Packages > Core > Data > !Place them here!]

INTRODUCTION:
=================

All files offered in this upload are fully compatible with the mods listed above. They also work in synergy and might I add they provide a very challenging Dragon Age experience.
Reason why I think my difficulty mod is good for Slinks S3 RAVage is because S3 offers alot of good armor and items and makes the game really mediocre unless you customize monster level caps and raise them, boost all health caps above vanilla limit, boost damage resistance, physical and mental resistance, and boost monster spell resistance.
My difficulty mod does exactly that, and I will also provide statistical data below to list what kind of difficulty this mod will provide.

=================
STATISICS:
=================

Here I will try to break down my mod to the best of my ability to non-modders and try to explain what goes on in my difficulty mod. I will explain the requirements to attempt my mod in terms of in-game gears and damage.

A player will not need to cheat to (as in using runscript pc_immortal) to beat my mod it is realistically difficult for players who perfer to use OP gears and weapons from mods. Basically people who has alot of armor or weapon mods will like this mod.
Also, if you want to wreck the game by adding like 4-6 specializations to your characters and adding new abilities early, you WILL STILL die most likely with my mod, it is very challenging even if you do that so... yea it makes the game very fun for me.

Defense/Armor :
LVL 1~10 Req : 20-25 Armor for all classes to survive. Also it could be the most difficult time for alot of players since it's usually the first time players try this mod and most people might not like the difficulty.
LVL 11~20 Req : 30-40 Armor for all melee classes to survive, 25-30 Armor for mages to survive. This was the toughest time for me because of the Ogres at Ostagar will hit very hard and I cheated by adding a few abilities from the Guardian tree to barely survive them, but I never had to add ability after this I progress normally from Ostagar and on through endgame.
LVL 21~30 Req : 45-55 Armor for all melee tank/warrior classes to survive 50~60% elemental resistance on all elements is also required to survive from now on. 35-45 Armor for all rogue classes to survive from now on. 25-35 Armor + stone skin for all mage classes to survive from now on.
LVL 30+ Req : N/A if you can play past LVL 10 without crying or screaming at your game for being such a $#%^$^ jerk you should do fine with this difficulty mod.

Attack/Damage :
LVL 1~10 Req : 25-30 dps for all melee classes to survive, higher the better.
LVL 11~20 Req : 35-45 dps for all melee classes to survive, higher the better.
LVL 21~30 Req : 55-75 dps for all melee classes to survive, higher the better.
LVL 30+ Req : 100+ dps for all melee classes to survive, higher the better.

Some notes for players who wants to consider my RAVage Extended Difficulty Mod. Strategy and tactics is a heavy emphasis with my mod, you will most definitely need threaten abilities and "increase hostility" status on your weapons or your armors if you are tanking. Rogues will not be able to tank with my mod, mages are very squishy but very useful with my mod as well. Other things like damage, if you have even 150+ damage displaying on your character screen it doesn't matter, this mod will still be difficult for you, so do not worry that if you progress the game will become too easy. Some enemies will still be able to 2~3 hit you by the time you have 70 armor so you can't go wrong with my mod, the key to beat it is avoiding enemies attacks and cause them to fall via knock-downs or magic or stuns.

=================
KNOWN ISSUES:
=================

My mod hasn't caused any issues with my own game so far but if anyone reports any weird stuff from their game please feel free to post them here.

Oh yea my difficulty mod WILL cause an issue if you choose to play it, you will most likely rage at how hard it is lol. Eventually you will enjoy it though.

==================================
REASON WHY I MADE THIS MOD:
==================================

Many reason why I made this mod... for Slinks S3 RAVage, is because I LOVE THAT MOD, but the non-interactive spawns annoyed me to no end so I finally said "ENOUGH !!!" and fixed it so yea...

For difficulty mod was because as my damage and armor gets higher and higher in Dragon Age Origins and Awakening, I find the game really easy even with highest difficulty on RAVage, I have also tried other difficulty mods, they are really either too difficult or too annoyingly weird. So I made my own.
I'll give y'all an example of my slightly cheated character atm, I do not use any immortal or supercrit cheats, I only use some cheats on TWF to make a slightly cool or strong weapon, My dps is atm 182 [with all buffs applied, like Song of Courage, Berserk, Indomitable, etc], and I have 57 armor with no buffs, LVL 21 character, and I still die sometimes if I'm not careful, and if I didn't have so much experience with my mod my party would die very easily. so there you go guys. If you are sick of having like... 99+ lesser health poultices, 99+ health poultices, 99+ greater health poultices, all stacked in your inventory doing nothing all game, feel free to try out my mod, you will be surprised at how hard your game will become and how fun it will become.
