Unbalanced felt right, not even cbt, very fun and all, my only problem with this level were crashes and maybe the big open arena fodders amount/spawn location, but overall very nice level, thanks for sharing :).
I made an add-on mod that enables starting Immora Master Level Mods from a new TAG2 save file with arsenal and codex fully unlocked in order to prevent progression loss from potential crashes.
Download the mod from my Google Drive. Open the "New Save Add-Ons" folder and download the "E5M3 - Immora Master Level by Cuzzmotion New Game Add-On.zip" Install the add-on mod alongside the actual Immora Master Level mod.
Tested with the unbalanced version of the level, but it should work with the balanced version and Konvaz's Immora Master Level mod. (These levels are pretty stable though so crashes are unlikely.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Unbalanced version with Horde Hammer)
Finally got around to playing the unbalanced version now that I'm more confident with my skills after a plethora of other Master Level mods. Again, what a masterpiece of a Master Level! What I've said below about the balanced version also applies here but with harder and more chaotic encounters.
In terms of difficulty comparison, I'd say this is around one level harder than the official Taras Nabad Master Level, and it took me around 70 minutes to complete for the first time.
Some minor inputs and bug reports:
I feel like the Imps accidental encounter right at the beginning of the balanced version should also be transfered here just to make the intro consistent between the two versions. It felt a bit weird to not have them in this version.
The portal that sends the Slayer to the penultimate arena has this weird bug where sometimes it considers the player falling off the map first before properly transfering them to the actual destination, and sometimes it doesn't even transfer the player at all. I'm pretty sure this is caused by the portal being too small, so I suggest enlarging the portal massively not just for this issue, but also to make it much more obvious for the player on where to go.
oh cool! I'm back for one more project with the game, so yeah, i could try to fix the environment bug on the unbalanced version and also try to fix the portal thing. Making the portal bigger visually is no problem, the teleport trigger just uses the slow one that the level already had, that makes the player stay still and fall while the 'teleportation animation' plays.
(Talking about the Balanced version, not sure if I'll ever try the other one)
Masterpiece of a Master Level! The encounters are well crafted and don't overstay their welcome, plus custom visuals and chaotic-yet-balanced arenas really hammers down that the Slayer (feat. Sentinels) is truly at war with Hell, and it's throwing everything it got for the realm's survival.
In terms of difficulty comparison, I'd say this is a bit harder than The World Spear Master Level, and it took me around 60 minutes to complete for the first time.
This is one of the best master levels I've played. Great meathook points and jump pads in the arenas, good usage of the fog and posessed demons. The final arena with the custom demon was very challenging and fun. I just have one request. Is it possible for you to make a version of the unbalanced master level without the custom music?
Dude, seriously, I just finish playing it; one of the best ML ever made ... I looove it. Perfect amount of Demons, Meathook points. Super well balanced. Thank you!!!
