Hi, no matter what i do (including adding the launch options in the documentation) i can't turn on RT. The mod is working (performance overlay reports a 4090 with DLSS quality turned on (i'm on linux on a 7800XT). RT option is greyed out. I'm not using steam but heroic launcher, do i need to do something different?
Hi, I'm testing it right now. First of all, I would recommend you to check with the performance overlay if your situation is either CPU or GPU bound, I can run the game without FSR in 1440p on a 6650xt 11400F (Debian Trixie) low settings for 100-165fps. I'm saying this cause ideally you shouldn't be needed FSR on a high end GPU. In case RT is still grayed out, you can try to force it with RADV_PERFTEST=rt but latest Mesa builds (I'm on 24.2.8) have it enabled by default.
Update: Just booted up on steam, both RT and DLSS are not grayed out. Moreover, FSR 3.x is crashing again, for whatever reason, while XESS doesn.t. Looking into it right now.
I did everything correctly I guess, the DLSS option is also selectable but when I click on quality mode, the game hangs and crashes to desktop, I have intel 8300H GTX 1050Ti 8 GB RAM
Linux or Windows? As I mentioned, this only works on the vanilla executable, i.e. DOOMEternalx64vk.exe, while it doesn't on the sandbox.exe.
Update: I've tested again on linux, debian. Optiscaler now loads by using this launch option: WINEDLLOVERRIDES='winhttp,winmm,nvapi64'=n,b. I will ask in the DLSS2FSR server for testing it on windows11
DISCLAIMER: I apologize for leaving most of you without response but IRL complications hit me really hard lately.
To my surprise the mod now works wonderfully on DE, especially the new FSR 3.1.3. I updated the whole description, now the installation is way more streamlined and by doing some tweaking, the image quality in game is impressively good. I apologize again for not having posted anything regarding this mod.
did anyone manage to get this to work? i followed the instructions on github but the dlss option in the options isnt avaliable. extracted the content into the game, enabled the signature override. nothing happens in game... can someone help?
Are there instructions for installing this on Steam Deck? I tried using the registry editor in ProtonTricks for enabling the signature override, but I don't think I did it right.
Did you put the required launch option in the games properties on steam, for linux? WINEDLLOVERRIDES="version=n,b" %COMMAND% Where "version" is based on the dll name, like dxgi.dllwinmm.dllversion.dllwininet.dllwinhttp.dll
Hi, does anyone know how to install the mod correctly? I followed the instructions on GitHub, but the only thing that happens is that I can select DLSS in-game but the upscaling is not being applied.
