This may be a dumb question, but doesn't the game already effectively have a New Game Plus? When you select a chapter, doesn't it keep everything you've earned / upgraded so far? So just select Chapter 1 and you should have everything. No?
Chapter Select keeps what you've picked/interacted with/upgraded - if you didn't do something it won't give you it. This mod can give you everything without Chapter Select or need to finish a game and all of this from the start of New Game, so you can progress naturally with all the things (apart from 1 Health upgrade).
hi there, when in the new game will you get all the goodies? Ive started a new game and when i got his suit in the next room i didnt get anything. also went out the hallway and that first battle then made it outside still nothing. thanks
It worked, but then I decided to not use it and s*** hit the fan. Thought the simple fix would be to run the game without DoomModLoader, but it is definitely not that simple. That caused an error and CTD. Tried deleting the mod and the debug.zip files, still CTD. Verified game files? CTD. Uninstall game and reinstall game? CTD. Game is now completely unplayable while I Google around for solutions.
Update: I think this had something to do with corrupting the saves. The only way I was able to fix it is to return the debug.zip files, launch the game using the loader, and delete all saved games. After I did this, I was able to launch the game through Steam/WeMod without using the modloader launcher. Hopefully this unblocks achievements and what-not but whatever. At least I can play.
I have my fingers crossed for something similar. I want everything but Weapons. Argent Cell upgrades, full Masteries, Runes, etc. but I want to have to find each weapon before I can use it. Great mod, by the way.
Is it possible to add a version of this mod just for the runes but not upgraded? I always found the most tedious part of replaying this game are the challenge rooms.
Is it possible to make just ONE rune (Savagery) & boots unlocked from start? I tried your boot/runes/suit new game plus & it's very nice work m8.....Keep it up(If have spare time ofc).
