Carmack's been buggin' me to upload this, so here it is. This ReShade shader suite will add a new level of depth, color, and visual effects to a Great looking game. So be sure to thank Mr. Carmack.
INSTALLATION
Copy everything from the "Carmack" folder to your main DOOM folder.
(Where DOOMx64.exe is located)
e.g. "C:/Program Files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/DOOM"
Note: If you have the game installed in a custom folder other than the
default, then open ReShade.ini and set the directory path.
IN-GAME ADVANCED SETTINGS
Be sure to use the Default "Rendering Mode".
Set the "Sharpening Amount" to 0.0 (disabled). I use a better method.
I like to set the "Film Grain" to 0.5 (or choose what you prefer).
Play your game!
RESHADE CONTROLS
End key to toggle main effects
Home key to toggle GUI editor
TROUBLESHOOTING
Always remove ReShade files from a previous install before installing.
Disable the Steam overlay if you have issues.
Disable third-party programs, and seek help in the forums if all else.
