When I add this mod and started a new game, for some reason my character can't move at all no matter how many times I press the interact button. By any chance has someone out there experienced this and knows what is the exact problem & fix?

I did have other mods on, and its when I removed this mod that I was able to move normally again. Trying to figure out what could have conflicted, since isn't this just a mod for a new npc and that's it? It has nothing to do with movement right? So confused. =(

I've never experienced that! Yeah, it has absolutely nothing to do with player characters or the core systems, it just adds some new items and an npc (in Fort Joy), so that shouldn't be a result of this mod...

If you move it around in the load order, does it still happen? Maybe try enabling it and systematically disabling other mods to see which one conflicts? Sorry that this happened, I wish I could help!

Thank you for some steps to make it possibly work, and after testing things out I saw that even without any other mods with it, it still makes my new game unable to move my character.

I noticed also that the screen is angled another way compared to without the jar mod on when you first start a new game. So this is real weird. I'm not very smart on the modding field, so my guess it maybe has to do with the version of the game its running on? Mine is 3.0.143.909.

That probably isn't the reason either Chrscool8, but its okay maybe I'm just one of the unlucky few for some reason. No biggie, its nothing for me to be crazy stressed about anyways. Maybe if I had the GOG version of this game, who knows since I'm using steam instead.

Thanks for trying to figure it out! Funnily enough, I went to try it again today and I'm finding the same result as you! Maybe it has something to do with the latest update and I hadn't updated the main game until now.

That's really weird because it worked fine on older versions and like I said, it shouldn't have anything to do with that... In any case, the good news is that it seems to work totally fine when turning it on for an already existing save (even one 5 seconds into the game), and that now that I'm experiencing it, I can try to debug it.

I'll get right on that! Thank you for informing me!!

Haha I wish I saw your reaction, you was probably kinda laughing and said "Holy smokes that dude was telling the truth, what the hell is going on here?!" That or you was drinking your morning or night drink and almost spurted it out when you saw that problem. Okay maybe not that lol.

Anyways thanks for the little steps how to make it work after, this whole time just had to wait a few seconds and load, which yup now everything is okay. Time to further test out your mod, and also thanks for sharing it. If for some reason I can't move my character during all of it I'll be sure to let you know again. xD

Still surprised how your mod would do such a thing on a new game. Out of all the mods I imagined that causing it, definitely didn't think it would be yours that adds just an npc and new items. I'm predicting the newest patch that I believe is coming out in a few days might fix that issue, who knows. Since maybe its just this one that messed things up somehow, I would find it kinda funny if that happens.

Also would save you the time and trouble trying to fix it. People could just go on the comments and see the simple solution of just waiting a bit and loading anyways. ^___^

Awesome mod, it looks good so far. Here's a recommendation: A Jar Of Sharts, throw it and a puddle of poison (At least you hope it is...) will appear at you opponent's feet. Gross!

I am currently playing Divinity 2 with a friend of mine, but I am always looking for mods that are effective and non-cheating. Do your potions provide permanent increases, or temporary ones. Further, how many potions are currently within the package, and will you be making a list on the mod description page with the effect and length of effect. For example, Jar of Farts does poison damage but for how long, and how much damage does it do? Will there be away to adjust these numerical values in game, and where do we acquire these jars.

I am always in the mood for temporary thievery plus 5 for 2 turns.

Thank you for the comment! For my first round of items, they will likely all give temporary buffs, like potions do. I will certainly add that extra effect info to the description. I'm thinking that the poison jar would be like a poison grenade that can also be ingested. I'm not sure exactly how they can be adjusted, but perhaps, if I take it far enough, they can be combined into larger sizes like potions. Right now, to acquire them, I believe they should show up as random loot. I just updated to have them spawn on the shore of the crash site the first time you arrive as well. I plan to have a Jar salesman be available in the town in the future, too! And I'll put that thief jar on the list!
