Do we need to have 4 people to use this mod? I'm trying to play with just 3 of us, but it's telling us we can't play unless all characters are assigned to a main character.
I have been playing the game using this mod and I am well into Act 4 of the game and have not had any issues using this mod. It has worked perfectly for me. So much nicer being able to build all 4 characters from scratch,
Hello. I been modding quite a bit with your mod as a base. I have added new races as playable companions, increased the number of icons so I do not have to replace any with my own custom, added new heroes and mercenaries. New skills, spells and so on. Even new customization options and added new animations to the other races you can use so they have complete move set. So far I made the female Orc into a fully playable character, and a skeleton wizard.
I was wondering if I could publish my mod at a later date as either a standalone mod, a patch, or maybe even cooperate on the mod if you are interested.
If you say no, I will respect that and not publish anything with you mod in it. Should you say yes I will give full credit, and let you use my mod too in any way you see fit. If you want too that is.
The third and fourth characters can't hear the main characters dialogues nor can initiate dialogues themselves. Well, they *can* initiate dialogues, but they are treated as companions, hence can't have conversations of any value. It's a shame, because you cannot play properly this way with more than two players, since one (or two) of your friends will have to controll the third or fourth character.

I'm pretty new to this game and played very shortly before deciding to restart then found this gem that seems to good to be true. I was wondering first off how stable is this mod? Is it still being updated or has it become something where the bugs are hardly noticeable? If yes to either question would someone recommend this mod for my first playthrough?
Love this mod works as advertised. Can you start a new game, create your 4 chars, then replace this mod with another since you no longer need the char creation?
If it is possible to dismiss and rehire created characters 3 and 4, does that mean that you could still hire all 4 normal NPC Companions and have them be your Crafters etc... back in town while you adventure with your 4 created characters?
You can dismiss and rehire 3 and 4. But you will not be able to rehire them until you gain access to the hall of echoes (Around level 2-3 I think, so not too long).

You need to modify the exe file of the host.
After that follow the rest of the instructions, should work with 3 instead of 4.
This is all Caused by D:OS being only a 2 player game by default.
I am playing multiplayer with a friend but no matter how we do things, we only see 2 characthers in creation screen. Are we missing something?

NVM: The mod needs to be the first one in the Mod list and its not working with Epic Encounters it seems :/.
