Somehow or another I managed to get this working for EE. However, I think it broke the Death Knights Bane skillbook creation. I have all the parts; the blood, the notes, and the spell, but I can't combine the spell with the blood to make the skill book. Can anyone confirm this?

Wish we could get a version of this for EE.

Breaks the current Steam version's multiplayer. Works fine if you're just playing solo.

EE changed crafting recipes and stuff. This doesn't work with that.

    Works fine on 1.0.252.
    I can't test all receipts, but I tested well-known: "knife/dagger + cloth/leather armor = scraps". You must have a proper knife/dagger for it.
    Endorsed.

Thanks for the fix. It was fun walking around with 2h+shields but a little imba

Any chance of this mod being updated for the latest patch 1.0.252?

Ug...did the Mysterious Dye + Cloth Scraps = good mage robe get killed in the process? Anyone else have this?

Haven't seen anything of that recipe in the description for the original mod so it must have been taken out or something.

Thanks for the reply! In taking a very amateur look at the mod (I don't really know how it works but figured out a little bit), what kills the "Good Mage Robe" recipe is the mysterious dye being used as a random dye in the original mod...this is unfortunate, since dye's are re-usable now and the random dye isn't really useful anyways. I just don't know enough about how the files are connected in the mod to safely and effectively remove all things related to mysterious dye.

The recipe is Cloth Scraps + Mysterious Fabric Dye Crafting 1 = Trethon's Old Robes
This was part of the original game and was removed. Has nothing to do with this mod, however it would be kind of nice to see this mod re-implement that recipe.

I just started playing Divinity and am looking for anything that might enhance my first run through. Is there any way that adding this mod into the mix would detract from the overall Divinity experience? I realize some parts of it aren't working but does it hurt the game in any way? Looking at a few of the comments on the original page (this modified version was created from) there are some folks recommending this (the original version) not even be used at all.

I'm guessing this is now outdated as well. Upon restoring a save one of my characters is completely missing his armor. Its just gone. It's sad that no mod's exist that at least include the three top fixes in this mods description. Repaired functionality would have been nice. I'm surprised there aren't any mods that do small game fixes like this.

What i really want is a fire arrow recipie...that is reliable to make, i thought since oil barrel+arrow head=slow down arrow would make sense for oven+slowdown arrow head to make a fire arrow BUT i'm no modder! i wish i knew more about the codding my limited knowlege has proven useless in adding the recipe in. I just wish the crafting was " complete " it was annoying as all heck to see so much got left out and crafting system itself seems really solid.

    Hi,

First of all thanks for the great work. game needs crafting update badly.

Some of the combinations you posted are not working in game, at least the knife/dagger + cloth/leather armor = scraps.

The list also badly needs additional magical items for the mid-late game. for example, magical bracer/boots.

One thing that doesn't make sense in the game is the random stats on items. for example, I don't want a cloth item with str, or a crossbow with int on it, those are a waste of mats/rolls/time...etc. Don't know if there is something you can do about that.

    Cheers

some of these combinations are required for good builds, just using the stats for your own "class"is a terrible way to go. I'ma big member of the steam forum community and have a few things there. But basically, a rogue with a shield, or mage with a shield is far better than 2 daggers ro a staff because a rogue does exactly the same damage with 2 daggers as with 1 and then you don't have to make sure you find 2 of that amazing dagger, you only need 1. with daggers it just splits the damage over 2 animations, its not actually doing 2 lots of damage, so by not using a shield with a mere 2 STR point investment + 1-2 from some items ie neck/waist is just hampering yourself. And as for a mage, well, you should not being using your staff to attack, and in no way does a staffs damage affect spells so it is purely there for it's stats, so why not use a beast 1h like the easy to get peter lees sword which has amazing stats and a shield which can boost your resists by up to 45% (30% passive + 15% from ruby/essences) and gaining 30-50% block chance (30-50% less damage taken from all non status ability things). but yes, there are some bad combos, like getting an amazing 1h with +2 two handed, that's just stupid and poorly designed by the devs. as for a "fix", it's possible, but very in depth and will most likely not happen unless someone puts in some very serious man hours and will most likely have to update it with EVERY patch
