I am really only missing one thing that I would like to have in this MOD and that is being able to use a different expanded inventory with 10x8 layout with no cramped eqiupment. I would make it my self but I am really bad at modding and coding. Please if this can be done i would greatly appreciate it!
Hello, thanks for the mod. One question tho, is there a possibility it could look like this ? https://imgur.com/t70DMnY I dont like the squished look. Thanks
I do not expand the panel beyond the bounds of the original because (1) it's inconsistent and (2) it breaks low vision mode and controller UI (there's not enough space in those to expand the panel vertically any more). You can, however, download an old version of this mod (1.0) where I did do this for the initial version (no support for controllers or low vision mode). I will not be going back to this style.
I prefer this too, i tried the 1.0 version but i couldnt use the other mods that was created for the later version. Is there a solution or is this the only option of expanded inv we get with the squished look on D2RMM.
Hi Oleg. Any chance you can teach me to make a marked line around the size of the regular inventory? Im using a larger inv mod, but would like to see which part of my inventory is the original stash (so i dont have to count my charms) Just like a fat line, or red line around?
D2RMM can't find playerinventoryoriginallayout.json in your game's Casc archive. The fix that usually works is to uninstall + reinstall Diablo 2. Manual debugging is possible by using CascView.
The other workaround is to use pre-extracted data instead of the casc archive, but I imagine you'd run into the same issue trying to extract the data using CascView in the first place.
This mod is wonderful. I don't know much about this game inventory system. Can you make an optional mod? I think many players may like an infinite inventory that has a scroll down or up like stalker game? If you can do that we all appreciate. Thank for advance.
Thanks for this mod! I have the same issue with encountered a runtime error! Error: API.extractFile: Failed to read CASC file: 11 at 76:47 I have tried everything I can, I only have 3 mods with D2RMM which was No Stamina Drain, Custom Color on Item drops and ExpandedInventory. It was working fine before reinstall but after reinstalling on Nvme the ExpandedInventory just kept saying that. I've tried everything and even just having just the mod alone doesn't bring it back.
When I reinstalled D2R and tried to reinstall all 3 mods, only the ExpandedInventory had that error. I then proceeded to reinstall everything to no avail. I didn't use any other mods via D2RMM after that.
are there other ways to install this? running base D2R won't load my D2RMM character
Mod Expanded Inventory encountered a runtime error! Error: API.extractFile: Failed to read CASC file: 11 at 76:47Why does this error appear? I installed it using mod manager.
Solved the problem. The problem is that there are errors in rune stacking mode, gem stacking mode, and increasing the amount of various projectiles and portal books.
Hello, I can make the inventory to show the new grid, but I can't move anything outside the normal grid coordinates. Any ideas? I feel like I am missing a switch or something
''This D2RMM mod expands the inventory size to 13x8. It was originally based on the excellent Expanded Storage (with Merc Equip) mod.'' Would you tell me how to make it or change it to look like the expanded storage with 10x8. looks better for me . i tried modifiying the files but its not working. ty
You'd need to: 1. Modify the grid size (gridX/gridY). 2. Modify all the offsets to get things to line up correctly. 3. Create new sprites to make everything look right. 4. Do 1-3 for all the supported variations you want to support (keyboard/mouse vs controller, normal vs low vision, etc...).
It's a lot of work. I'd recommend starting with one part at a time.
Not really sure where you'd fit all the contents of the inventory screen in a 10x8. I think you wouldn't have enough space for the equipment section if the panel is that narrow while still being 8 cells tall.
