Thank you for the upload. It's working for me and i am using the GOG version (1.0.0.222).
Side note: the people yapping about you not needing this fix and just disabling ingame V-sync -> i personally need this mod because just by disabling the ingame v-synch i could still feel a significant sluggish mouse look when looking diagonally. And like OP already mentioned in this description: even with this fix, the mouselook won't be 100% fixed, but its still significant.
=== IMPORTANT === Disabling the ingame v-synch may cause tearing/ghosting on some walls and mess up some physics. The most notable example that i experienced (and mentioned on some forums too! ) would be that right in the intro scene, the hair of Kendra is stretched on the whole screen. So here is what i did to make everything work perfect: - used this mod - disabled ingame v-sync - used the N-vidia control panel to force v-sync "ON" (not "adaptive"! i tried that first and it just made it worse, so i just set it to the basic "on") This seems to fix everything for me and the mouse works even better this way imo. You guys, depending on your rigs, may need to experiment with the video options too, until you find that sweet spot of settings that works best for you.
Hope this info helps... Happy holidays all! Death is only the beginning. Keep us whole!
Same case here, I have no idea of what everyone here is talking about. The only time I saw a problem is when I turned on V-sync and the camera movement just went SUPER slow but I fixed it immediately by turning off V-sync again, which made me realize that the camera and aiming in Dead Space is, for some reason, tied to your framerate and it gets very slow on its default 30 fps setting.
PSA: if you can't seem to move, make sure to CHECK IN YOUR CONTROLS and SET IT BACK TO DEFAULT (since it changed a bunch of keys from WASD to arrow keys to interact [E] to left? control).
i'd personally say dont risk it when i installed it it made my mouse not able to move atall it basiclly makes it so you have no choice but to use the controllers
You made errors in the description: "... if your left handed ..." has to be "... if you're (short for "you are") left-handed (modifiers require hyphens) ...".

Otherwise, the camera mod is a great fix.
