I noticed some light sources like setting fire to a nest or lamp lights are super bright at night. The headlight on the bike is another example. I went into a tunnel, and it was really bright. Had to turn it off because it was blinding. Is there a fix for that?
Added ambient light is the reason for that. You can just turn it off if you dont like it by opening the reshade menu with home key and pressing ambientlight.fx to uncheck it. If you wanna just reduce it then once you press on the shader, you will see its settings on the bottom section and you can lower the 1st value (alInt) to change the amount of light. I think I have it at 2.605 for this mod, so just lower it to whatever you like. The shaders show in realtime ingame so youll see the effect changing as you change vlaues. Make sure its checked at the top so the shader is on. Hope this helps.
The difference is visible, you've removed this unpleasant haze, made the gamut probably the same as on the Ps5 Pro, now maybe I'll try. And which version of Reshade should I download with addon support or just Reshade? Have you disabled Motion Blur in GameUserSettings.ini ? And is Dualsense working correctly for you? Otherwise, like many people on my Pc, I have problems that there is no normal vibration and Haptic features do not work.
Thanks for the feedback. Download latest reshade and you dont have to get addon. I disabled motion blur and chromatic aberration as I dont like those effetcs. The daulsense functionality will fully work if you get playstations accessories software from there site, but it only works through wired connection.
I have this official Sony application for updating the firmware of the gamepad and it is also connected with a wire, but in this particular game I have only the right trigger working during shooting and that's it. In the Steam community, many users have similar problems with the gamepad. Do you get to play on PC + Dualsense and everything works fine for you?
Hmmm, yah the software is working for me. Maybe it's your steam settings. I disabled both xbox and playstation controller support in settings cause I use the firmware dualsense software and DS4 for emulating PS4, Xbox controllers. Heres my settings.
Its probably your fps has dropped from using it. I would monitor your performance with RivaTuner to see your fps. I play at 60 fps/fullsecreen and cap it in the settings. Also it might be your graphic settings are too high. I need more info about your set up.
This reshade is really unique! After playing Days Gone a few times, this gives the game a whole new vibe. The warm colors add a fresh perspective and make it feel different in a really good way. Awesome work!
