I've made some edits to the file and will be uploading a new file you can just place in the appdata/bendgame cooked folder, way simpler than the .pak method. I'll update the file shortly.
Also you have to complete the marauder camp hunter missions to unlock this gun and yes download the original remaster and place the .pak file into your paks folder.
I moved to the 2nd map (Wizard Island) before completing the marauder camp hunter missions so I had to use the Debug Cheat mod to unlock the HoneyBadger by adding all weapons to my locker.
So now I have the gun and I can see the attachements on it but the stats seems to be the default one instead of the buffed one from your screenshot.
Alright, I made a fix for that already, I'll update the file now so you can just place the new extended mag .pak and you'll have the buffed stats and all the attachments and reskin - I'm using this in my own game with 17 other mods so it should work for you.
the extended mag mod is the only mod I can't get to work. Love your version of the AAC. Not the color you choice though lol But still so very awesome. Love to know why the extended mag isn't working.
Well you first gotta find your appdata/local folder, and in there there's the BendGame folder which contains a lot of assets used by the game, now in order for this mod to work and not conflict with other accuracy or weapon rebalance mods, we create a new folder "Cooked" inside of \AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved and we replicate the path of the vanilla game's config folder which the game then uses instead of its original folder - aka, any files or mods you place in the cooked folder - the game will use instead of its original assets. And before installing this mod or any other mods, go into your game instal location - SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content\sfpaks - don't rename sfpaks to something else, just go inside that folder and rename startuppackages.pak to startuppackages_modsenabled.pak After that any mod you install from nexus should have reasonably detailed installation instructions.
New to modding Days Gone. So when I create the "Cooked" folder what do you mean by replicate the path of the vanilla game's config folder? Do I basically go into the Cooked folder then create this path - "Cooked\WindowsNoEditor\BendGame\Content"? Then place the "weapons" folder from the mod into the content folder?

Do i need the .pak file as well? I tried having the 2.0 by itself and i couldn't get it to work. Am i putting the file into the wrong spot? i don't have the gigantic file location that you're saying, i've also tried to create the file path like previously posted but that didn't work. I also tried removing the entire "content" folder into "saved" since I didn't have \steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content. Mine looks more like SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content. I don't have the file path that goes from \Users so i can't go that way. Any help or insight would help. Thanks
I installed everything as prompted and the attachments are showing up, but the stats are still the vanilla ones. Is there something else I missed or, am I just to stupid?

Also I'm already at the Magic Mountain part of the game and still don't have this gun unlocked, How far I need to progress to get it?
