About this mod

Visual mod that makes sorceries yellow (like miracles) inspired by Lothric's "holy crystal soul spear"

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Installation (UXM only):

1.
With UXM (https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/26, don't worry that it's on the sekiro mods page, it works for DS3 as well) unpack the game and patch.

2. Extract the 2 .dcx files from the UXM/Modengine version of the mod, and drag and drop them into the Game/sfx folder in your Dark Souls III directory. This will override any existing changes to the base game and second DLC sfx, even if the mod does not change. If you want to avoid that, use the Yabber version.

Installation (Modengine only):

1.
Download Mod Engine (https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/332), and drop dinput8.dll and modengine.ini into your Game folder in your Dark Souls III directory.

2. Edit modengine.ini (with your preferred text editor, the standard notepad will work), and change modOverrideDirectory="\mod" to modOverrideDirectory="\Holy Sorcery 1.0.2". Additionally, if you want to play online, change blockNetworkAccess=1 to blockNetworkAccess=0 (Though, this will probably ban you just because it is modengine).

3. Throw the Holy Sorcery 1.0.2 into your Game folder. This will override any existing changes to the base game and second DLC sfx, even the ones the mod does not change. If you want to avoid that, use the Yabber version.

Installation (Yabber Version):

1. With UXM (https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/26, don't worry that it's on the sekiro mods page, it works for DS3 as well) unpack the game and patch.

2. Go to Game/sfx in your Dark Souls III directory and unpack frpg_sfxbnd_commoneffects_effect.ffxbnd.dcx and frpg_sfxbnd_dlc2_effect.ffxbnd.dcx with Yabber (https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/42).

3. Extract the folders from the Yabber version of the mod, and drag and drop frpg_sfxbnd_commoneffects_effect-ffxbnd-dcx and frpg_sfxbnd_dlc2_effect-ffxbnd-dcx (the folders inside the Holy Sorcery folder) into sfx, and tell it to overwrite existing files.

4. repack frpg_sfxbnd_commoneffects_effect.ffxbnd.dcx and frpg_sfxbnd_dlc2_effect.ffxbnd.dcx with Yabber.

The UXM and Yabber versions should be safe for online use, but I cannot guarantee it 100%, and I recommend backing up your sfx folder regardless. I am not sure if Mod Engine can ban you when it only changes sfx (which normally do not ban when edited directly), so I cannot say if the modengine version is safe for online use or not.
