= STAMINIZER ANIMATIONS by CornflakeRush =

Ever felt like a DaS undead in a world of Bloodborne enemies? Ever thought DS3 enemies seem to totally lack stamina and never stop attacking? This mod is (hopefully) for you!

Combined with HoodiePatcher this mod adds "DebugAnimSpeed" TAE events to the animations of a wide number of enemies, slowing them down at key moments with the aim of keeping them challenging
but less relentless, closer to DS1 and... MOST of the enemies in DS2. Generally speaking, the modified enemies tend to have slightly longer wind-ups to their attacks,
bigger gaps between hits and some (IMO) crazy-fast combos have been slowed down.

Modified Enemies include:

Most Hollows (Soldier, Thief, Settlers, Graveyard)
Lothric Knights (All Variants)
Pus of Man
Lycanthropes
Lycanthrope Hunter (Tree Hollows)
Giant Crabs
Sulyvahn's Beasts
Select bosses (e.g. Midir, Dancer)
Mirkwood Knights
and more!

If you've already mastered DS3 this mod will probably make the game WAY easier! You've been warned! :P


- INSTALLATION (VANILLA DARK SOULS III) -

If you're playing Vanilla DS3, unzip everything into your base DS3 folder (where DARKSOULSIII.exe is) and play. ModEngine and HoodiePatcher should load automatically.

- INSTALLATION (WITH EXISTING MODENGINE MOD) -

If you're already using a mod that uses ModEngine (e.g. Cinders), follow these instructions:

1) Unzip "HoodiePatcher.dll" and "HoodiePatcher.ini" into your base DS3 folder.
2-A) If Modloader is the only other .dll based mod you're using, open modengine.ini, find [chainDInput8DLLPath=""] and replace it with [chainDInput8DLLPath="\HoodiePatcher.dll"] (both without square brackets).
2-B) If you're already using another .dll based mod, follow the instructions above, then head into HoodiePatcher.ini and replace [ChainloadDinput8dll=""] with [ChainloadDinput8dll="\.dll"]
3) Make a backup of the "chr" folder inside the root folder of your chosen mod, e.g. "/Cinders/chr"
4) Copy the "chr" folder inside "StaminizerAnims" and paste it in the root folder of your chosen mod, e.g. "/Cinders". Replace any files if prompted - if the mod does anything special to the vanilla enemies' TAE events, Staminizer will disable them.
5) Ideally the mod should be up and running!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MODIFIES THE GAME AND WILL GET YOU SOFTBANNED IF YOU PLAY ONLINE!

ModEngine blocks DS3 network access by default, set "blockNetworkAccess=1" to "blockNetworkAccess=0" in modengine.ini to turn this off.
