The comments saying they cant run it, is that before you added the low-medium one? This looks really nice and is the one i've been looking for while checking shaders for sure but im not sure if i could run it with a gtx 1050

yeah it was before i added those options. i did a lot of optimization, but im still surprized so manny people had trouble running it.

its good that you enjoyed the update <3

I'm noticing that using these shaders on Cinders with the Draw Distance Increased - ULTIMATE mod given as a requirement when downloading this one ay or may not make distant landscapes and the sky sort of grainy when at extreme or medium-high settings. Any possible fix?

hmmm, i dont think there is a fix. it seems like the issue is caused by the dynamic shadow shader, i dont know how to fix it and the shader is in its early stages i think. maybe it will get fixed after a while.

i see comments about it makes fps low , it's not true the game works fine with reshade and my PC is just gtx 660
i don't know what they pc problem :)
iam getting back to the old preset tho , thanks alot for the nice try
in my opinion you should try other Dark souls Games ( dark souls 2 and demon souls ) has no good reshade at all
maybe try one of them next :)

thanks, I really appreciate all kinds of feedback. it doesn't need to even be positive, just honest opinions like yours, so I really appreciate your comments :D
about the mod being demanding and giving low fps; I have worked a lot on optimizing this mod, so it's much better now, but if you want your pc to melt (like mine did) then try version 1.0 lol. 1.0 was crazy demanding haha.

I want to also tell you something (i should put this in the description of the mods), my mod works best with the depth of field turned off (in the game settings), motion blur turned off and anti-aliasing turned off (Vsync should also always be off just in general). I will be updating the one you liked soon, want to bake motion blur into the shader.

and about the games you suggest; Dark souls 2 is my favorite dark souls game, I love it. it was my first one, and I saw that it did not have any good shaders (most of them are old) as you said. I defiantly will be making one on dark souls 2, hope you will like it (will take 1-3 days).
I can give you the early versions and then you can give feedback if you want to :D

Ok, can you help a noob out here? The video tutorial is really easy to follow, but I must be doing something wrong here. So I extracted both your mod and the thing Crosire's mod into DS3/Game after putting Reshade there and setting it up. In-game, I make sure the effect and file path is set right, then I set the preset to yours, but I'm seeing no changes! And yes, effects are turned on and I can see effects when I click certain boxes. What am I missing?

      hmmmmm, I'm thinking.
you say that you can see the effects when you turn them on individually, but not when all of them are on at the same time?
I don't know why it does not work, it should be working hmmm.
one thing you can try is to duplicate my preset and switch between them, it seems stupid but it might work, since sometimes the preset must load.
oh and maybe you did not download all of the effects? since if you don't check all the boxes when first installing the program it will not work properly.
update me on the issue and I will help you as best as I can.

Even stuff like ASCII and Monochrome? Still got nothing, but I did get a nice clean effect with Curves and Luma Sharpen. Does it normally just work out of the box, or do you think your mod would have some modern effects that my card is too old to render?

hmmm, well i just think it requires you to have the newest version, which I assume you have. i really don't know why it's not working. you can try this mod by me: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/694?tab=posts
it's supposed to be very noticeable, I'm sure its easier to troubleshoot with it since its more extreme.

Well, I can easily see the difference just in the pics, but I'll give it a try. Still blaming my graphics card unless someone else with an old card can prove me wrong and I'm missing something dumb.

Wow, this looks very good! Nice and clean, and preserves the original aesthetic while enhancing it. Tracking for a more performance-friendly version as I'm still using a GTX 970.

What do you mean, " turn mod off in main menu"?

    Please be more specific.

oh, i mean that the preset will automatically be turned on i think, and if it is, then you should first press home, then go to settings and find out what key the toggle on/off is binded to (i think its "scroll lock") and deactivate the preset while in the main menu, because in my experience, it turns the entire main menu black.
      hope this clarifies it :D
i think i will add this to the description of the mod

Not trying to be mean or to discourage you but if your mod demands so much power to run ( 55fps onRTX2080 super) no one is really going to use it and its more of a very early beta version especially considering visual change is not that significant at all.
    Good luck though.

awww so nice, thanks for your comment and encouragement.
I fully agree with you, the mod was extremely demanding, I have made some changes so maybe you could test it again and tell me what you think?

in regards to how different it looks, I know its not much difference visually, but I went for a vanilla look with far superior lighting and shading, which I think I achieved. its more subtle, but more advanced than trying to change the style (which I was tempted to also do).
