About this mod
Changes some aspects of The Convergence mod that I found lacking or out of touch with the Dark Souls design philosophy, and adds a lot more.
To install this mod, simply drop the files from within each folder into the corresponding folder located in your Convergence mod directory.

All changes from 1.24 onward are listed in a text document inside of the main file. 1.29 will be the sticking point for a while until I make a compatibility patch for the last version of The Convergence.
NG+ Changes
- Adjusted difficulty, changed stat balance of enemies when scaled
World Changes
- (Version 1.1) - Reduced named NPC poise
- Moved hidden enemies/reduced gimmicky surprise attack enemies
- Standardized FP and HP recovery on armors, corrected FP regen % rows in params (unsure about in-game effect, but appeared to be using wrong field for % max FP regen)
- Removed camoflauge from irithyllian slaves due to improper functioning during presence in untended graves.
- Added better drops to stray demon in prelude to Smouldering Lake
- Added a world boss enemy in vanilla Horace's location in Smouldering Lake
- Added better drops to the Havel Knight in Archdragon Peak
- Added a greater foe Havel in Archdragon Peak
- Added 3 elite enemies in Ariandel
- Added a Champion Gundyr world boss enemy to Gael's arena in The Ringed City so you can parry him to death
- Added additional Remains drops to Iron Dragonslayer [Ringed City], Darkeater Midir and Slave Knight Gael

- (Version 1.2) - Slightly changed enemy layout of Road of Sacrifices, Cathedral of the Deep and Anor Londo
- (Version 1.2) - Removed Gael and Ariandel warp from Cathedral of the Deep
- (Version 1.2) - Changed portal routing in Cathedral of the Deep and Untended Graves
- (Version 1.2) - Added new area routes for Smouldering Lake and Irithyll/Anor Londo
- (Version 1.2) - Changed Functionality of the Farron Keep Perimeter door to remove the vanilla Farron Keep -> Abyss Watchers bottleneck; now opens with a key which can be found in 3 different maps.
- (Version 1.2) - Changed functionality of the Anor Londo roof shortcut door; now opens with a key found nearby in the area
- (Version 1.2) - Reverted the mistaken purple/teal UI change lol (it's included in the files if you want to put it back in)
- (Version 1.2) - Reduced the amount of souls gained from boss souls, increased sell values to match item use values and increased the total held amount.
- (Version 1.23) - Restored Irithyll Garden illusory wall
Moveset Changes
- Reverted Abyss Watchers/Nameless King (Faraam)/Gundyr/Stray Demon/Dancer/Midir's movesets to vanilla speed
- Slowed down Beheaded Knight's animations to match their vanilla Champion Gundyr equivalents
- Made Beheaded Knight parryable; equivalent to vanilla Champion Gundyr
- Slowed Down Archdruid Caimar's animations so he doesn't consistently chain attacks with incompatible dodge windows, although phase 2 seems to be bugged
- Dramatically reduced the damage of Archdruid Caimar's essence drain due to homing orbs often making damage unavoidable in some form
- Slowed Down Lilianne's animations to reduce the clutter of area damage effects from her attacks (and because no Gael)
- Massively Slowed down the straight sword Ringed Knight/Vilhelm Armor Knight's 5 hit combo weapon art due to it being often undodgeable in the narrow pathways of Untended Graves
- Decreased animation commitment on Wolf Stance weapon art attacks
- Sped up Royal Dark Sword Stance R2 to compensate for the lack of a projectile
- Dramatically increased soul gain from boss souls; reduced shop sell value to 0.
- Reduced commitment on the soul item use animation for using Alchemy Reagent Bundles
- Reverted Aldrich's overhead slam attack to vanilla speed
- Reverted Fire Witch's attack animations to vanilla speed
- Rebalanced some of glaive Wolnir's attacks to be more evenly weighted
- Rebalanced most of Pontiff Sulyvahn's, Royal Darkwraith's and Soul of Cinder's animations to be more evenly weighted
- Changed Katana 1-handed R1 moveset to not be so bad
Weapon/Shield Changes
- Removed White Mist's frosty sound effect when appearing in the player's hand due to it being potentially ear-piercing and replaying every time the model disappears and reappears, such as when using Estus (found in fdp_smain_dlc1.fsb if you want to put it back in)
- Decreased the weight of Lorian's Greatshield significantly
- Increased the damage of Chaos Dual Swords, Sellsword Twin Blades, Warden Twin Blades, Onikiri and Ubadachi, and Frigid Curved Sword
- Adjusted the physical absorption of Lion's Fury and Valorheart
- Adjusted the physical absorption and stability of Eagle of Light
- Adjusted the physical absorption and stability of all small shields, some medium shields and two greatshields
- Increased the stability of heavy greatshields in accordance with their weight
- (Version 1.2) - Added Deep Crescent paired katanas to Cathedral of the Deep
- (Version 1.2) - Added Hallowed Silver Kite Shield to Cathedral of the Deep
- (Version 1.2) - Reduced HP drain of Black Lotus and the Chaos Blade
- (Version 1.2) - Altered the weights of katanas relative to their appearances and drawbacks
- (Version 1.2) - Increased the maximum number of held arrows, bolts and greatarrows
- (Version 1.23) - Made Deep Crescent infusable, fixed 1-handed R1 animations
- (Version 1.23) - Added Dreamwalker
Spell Changes
- Changed Priscilla's benediction to buff dark damage and FP while reducing HP and SP, as the original version was self-defeating
- Increased the damage of Chaos Beam to match its FP cost and lack of AoE relative to Forbidden Sun.
- Fixed Black Flame Arc not applying to both paired weapons when two-handed
Ring Changes and Additions
- Havel's Ring - Increased equip load buff to match its +3 vanilla counterpart
- Ring of Favor - Increased all buffs to match their +3 vanilla counterparts
- Ring of Calamity - Added a 35% outgoing damage buff so it isn't completely useless apart from challenge/meme runs, changed name to Calamity Ring because I think it sounds cooler
- Rosaria's Fingers Covenant Accessory - Increased HP recovery to 4
- Dusk Crown Ring - Changed spell FP cost reduction to 30%, up from 25%, and increased HP penalty to 25%
- Aldrich's Ruby - Recovers 100 HP + reduces weapon stamina consumption by 75%, duration increased to 2 seconds
- Aldrich's Sapphire - Recovers 300 FP + 100 HP, duration increased to 2 seconds
- Blue Tearstone Ring - Decreases incoming damage by 50% when HP is below 50%
- Red Tearstone Ring - Increases outgoing damage by 25% when HP is below 40%
- Wood Grain Ring - Decreases weapon stamina consumption by 15%; adds 15% max stamina
- Lloyd's Sword Ring - Increased damage to 20% while at 99%+ HP
- Clutch Rings - Increased damage to 20%, up from 15%
- Band of Quickening (changed to Focusing Band) - Adds 30% FP, 2 FP Regen
- Scholar/Priestess/Knight/Hunter's Rings - +10 stat; up from +5
- Prisoner's Chain - +8 of each stat; up from +5
- Reversal Ring - Additionally inverts your FP and stamina ( FP +75%, SP -75% )
- Farron Ring - Additionally adds 20/sec SP recovery and 1 FP recovery
- Pontiff's Left Eye - Increases Attunement, Intelligence and Faith by 8, reduces absorptions by 10%
- Dragonscale Ring - Additionally adds 10% HP, SP, FP
- Dark Wood Grain Ring - Decreases weapon skill and spell FP cost by 15%; adds 15% max FP ; subtracts 10% max SP
- Carthus Milkring - Adds 5 dex, 10% SP and 10% HP and obscures rolling
- Ring of the Lost - increased stat bonus to 4
- Sun Princess Ring - Increased HP regen to a flat 15/sec due to it being severely outclassed by the Ring of Devotion
- Sage Ring - Increased casting speed buff to 50, up from 30, adds 1 FP regen and reduces spell FP cost by 10%
- Life Ring - Doubled HP buff to 20%
- Wolf Ring - (Version 1.1) - Increased Poise buff to 15, added 10% physical damage reduction and 5% dark damage reduction, poise buff now displays in stat window
- Leo Ring - Increased damage to 25%
- Horsehoof ring - Increases luck by 10, boosts kick effect
- Ring/Sword of the Evil Eye - Increased HP per kill to 75
- Ring of Manipulation (5% Physical) - Added 15% FP reduction (spell and weapon art)
- Young Dragon Ring (5% magic) - added 15% spell FP reduction
- Great Swamp Ring (5% fire) - added 15% spell FP reduction
- Morne's Ring (5% lightning) - added 15% spell FP reduction
- Deep Ring (5% Dark) - added 15% spell FP reduction
- Telekinetic Band (10% Physical) - Added 10% FP reduction (spell and weapon art)
- Crystalline Loop (10% Magic) - Added 10% spell FP reduction
- Charred Band (10% Fire) - Added 10% spell FP reduction
- Static Ring (10% Lightning) - Added 10% spell FP reduction
- Nether Ring (10% Dark) - Added 10% spell FP reduction
- Battlemage Band (15% Physical) - Added 5% FP reduction (spell and weapon art)
- Bellowing Dragoncrest (15% Magic) - added 5% spell FP reduction
- Witch's Ring (15% Fire) - added 5% spell FP reduction
- Ring of the Sun's First Born (15% Lightning) - added 5% spell FP reduction
- Ring of Manus (15% Dark) - Added 5% spell FP reduction
- Knight Slayer's Ring - added +25% stamina
- Obscuring Ring - increases FP/SP by 25%, decreases HP by 25%
- Pontiff's Right Eye - Increased state damage to 20%
- Untrue Dark Ring - adds 25% SP, subtracts 25% FP
- Untrue White Ring - adds 25% FP, sutracts 25% SP
- Redeye Ring - Added soul gain and item discovery equivalent to standard silver/gold serpent rings, respectively
- Estus Ring - Changed Name to Mixed Estus Ring - Added FP restoration, scales heavily with flask level, decreases damage by 5% and absorptions by 5%
- Ashen Estus Ring - Changed Name to Mixed Ashen Estus Ring - Added HP restoration, scales heavily with flask level - decreases damage by 5% and absorptions by 5%
- Ring of Steel Protection - Added 5% lightning absorption reduction
- Elemental Stoneplates - Reduced elemental resistance buff to 60%, down from 65%.
- Speckled Stoneplate - Reduced elemental resistance buffs to 20%, down from 30%.
- Hawk Ring - (Version 1.2) - Added 5% weapon damage increase
- Added Ring of Benediction - Replaces Ring of Favor +3 - increases Equip Load, HP and SP equivalent to values present in vanilla Ring of Favor +1, and added FP increase by the same amount
- Added Lucid Moon Announcement - Adds some HP regen, increases physical absorption, HP, SP and FP by 10% when worn; increases damage, decreases absorption, and drains HP as you attack.
- Added Avian Swift Ring - Decreases the density of your body, exchanging a massive portion of HP for max stamina and regeneration
- Added Tetsudo ring - 5% shield stability increase, increases physical absorption by 15% and decreases fire absorption by 5%
- Added Ivory Warrior Ring - Increases all damage by 5%, excluding fire, and applies 30 frost to your right hand weapon
- Added Bloodwood Warrior Ring - Increases all damage by 5% and adds 30 bleed to your right hand weapon
- Added Miasmic Band - Increases all damage by 5%, adds 30 poison and 15 toxic to your right hand weapon
- Added Hex Scale - Increases all damage by 5% and adds 30 curse to your right hand weapon
- Added Bargaining Stoneplate Rings
Speckled - Increases elemental resistances by 30%, reduces physical resistance by 5%
- Added Larcenous Stoneplate Rings
Speckled - Increases elemental resistances by 40%, reduces physical resistance by 10%
- Added Rare Gambler's Ring of Sacrifice - Increases soul gain by 10% + 2000, but drains health rapidly when below a certain threshold.
