I just installed the mod, and so far, gotta admit, it's challenging - especially the 3 estus limit. I kindled a fire in the Undead Burg, next to the merchant (Which is a much better place for him to be) - but it didn't seem to do anything, as my Estus flasks stayed at 3. Is there a point to kindling bonfires now?
A lil quicky bug report. I got the newest version of the mod, played around, what, 5 minutes. Got to firelink, went and scavenged the skeleton place right by firelink, got back to the bonfire, skeleton behind me, sat down, automatically got back up (no problem there, just letting you know what I did) and then I sat down to reverse my hollowing. When said action was made, I wanted to get out of the bonfire so obviously I pressed B and the bug would then be not letting me get up from the bonfire. I'm sitting there, can't quit game, I don't see the bonfire menu all I see is me sitting down without the menu from which you get whilst sitting down at a bonfire. I'm just sitting there, can't do anything, had to quit the game. Perhaps look into this. I doubt this is intentional.
I initially liked the idea of this mod but then I decided not to play it. I really initially liked the low durability of weapons making them break fast, that way I had to use of kicks to knock enemies off cliffs to preserve my weapon, BUT then I found out you couldnt repair your weapons at all, I then promptly uninstalled the mod......
I mean as a Roleplayer that likes ascetic themes I dont want to have to hot swap weapons every few minuites forcing me to play a completely diferent style my chars not set up for and doesnt asceticly suit. Now if repairing cost allot of souls and/or maybe materials like small titanite shards then fair enough, I could make sure to have a stock pile of golden powder, use magic and kicks where needed and slowly utalize technical gameplay to preserve my weapon. But I got part way through the mod and then poof my Trident is gone and I have to wait for another one to drop? nah thanks, but no thanks.
So TLDR. IF you made an alternative version of the mod where you can actually repair your weapon for a hefty cost and even only at balcksmiths, I think it would be perfect. xxx otherwise fantastic mod.
If I upgrade a weapon to +15, will it be almost unbreakable? I don't want to upgrade my weapons, as I don't wanna end up with my best weapon broken when there are no more upgrades. My best weapon is at +6 and I'm level 60 at Anor Londo.
edit: One thing I noticed about the Sen's boss. I did several trips from Andre's bonfire to Anor Londo and whenever I went for the golden ring aka Anor Londo express I found a drop from the boss. It is probably a bug. I think I got its weapon and a couple of slabs.
edit#2: I don't worry about upgrading my weapons anymore since I have so many weapons now. I just switch to another if the current weapon breaks.
