Apologies for the delay on getting the BH updated for the patch but time's not been kind. As you will notice, both the Remaster and Demaster options were not updated, as I have not been able to check in on the different changes that might have made its way into the patch on the relevant files. There's no ETA for their return, apologies for any inconvenience, but I at least wanted to update the mod for those who just want the BH to be there.
I can't get the mod to work and I'm not sure if it's my problem or the game's
Correct me if I'm wrong but the steps are:
1. Locate "Darkest Dungeon II_Data" 2. Go into "StreamingAssets" 3. Put the zip file of the mod there 4. Extract it (this part I'm not sure which kind of extract I should do, Extract All, Extract Here, Extract Files, or Extract to X 5. I made a new expedition and he's still not there
UPDATE: I managed to get the mod to work. However there's a bug where if you choose BH's option to leave the Hero Shrine, his quote is an error in blue, how do I fix this?

And if the answer is negative, can you tell me which of the parameters in the game files (when using dnspy) are the parameters regarding the chance of its appearance? I don't think a return to the original way would be in the works. I do not have updated data on the DnSpy parameters, but I do remember that you had to change a variable called m_HireChance in the csv files. I don't believe it still exists with that name, but the chance might now be somewhere else now.
So, I tried making sense of all the posts before me, to no avail. My question now, is this MOD working on the CURRENT version (with the dlc) or not? Because for me it isn't. This mod only has one file that's relevant and it is doing nothing. I cannot select BH on crossroads. Would be nice of the author of this mod would bring himself to at least update the page to tell the common little user which version its supporting or just outright say this mod is abandoned. I'm not mad that its not working, I'm mad because I do not now if its supposed to be working or if anyone even works on this.

I do not have the DLC so I cannot answer if it works with it (although we have one post saying it worked for them), but for the base game, the mod as it stands right now worked for me on version 1.04.59692. (I will not be updating the version number of the mod, however, as the file is unchanged). Because nothing has changed, I do not see what you would want the page to say besides what it already does but I'm open for suggestions.
Do make sure you are trying it from a brand new expedition, and not from a save that you were already in the Altar of Hope or Chapter selection.
Good afternoon, after digging into the code, I think I have restored the demastered version of the bounty hunter. After that, I thought it would be nice if the BH had his own paths. I wanted to ask if I could use your file as the default (wanderer) path and release the mod to subclasses accordingly. Anyway, thanks for your mod, it's only thanks to you that we can enjoy this character.
Thank you for the Mod! The Bounty Hunter is my boy so I really wanted a way to have him permanent.
I just started the first route, and it was all working well, but he vanished at the Inn before the mountain, is this normal? Is he unable to participate in the Mountain area or did something break?
