A balance and rework mod intended to stabilize the hero power levels, and to give some heroes clear niches.

Permissions and credits
Think some of Darkest Dungeon's heroes are a little too strong or weak? No Clever Name aims to bring a different balance to the heroes! Some of the more stand-out heroes have been nerfed slightly, while others have received larger reworks. If your game feels a little uneven, this mod will help bring a few old heroes into the limelight!

General:
Criticals: Rebalanced progression for all skills – Now consistently increases by 0.5 every level.
Stuns: Post-Stun Resistance raised (from 20% to 50%).

Arbalist:
Base Damage: Altered. (From 4-9/5-11/6-13/6-14/7-16 to 5-9/6-10/7-11/7-13/8-14).
Speed: Default weapon speed increased (1 to 5).

Sniper’s Shot: Bonus damage lowered (50/60/70/80/100% to 50/55/60/65/70%).
Sniper’s Mark: Reworked into Marking Shot. Can be launched from space 3/4. Can target enemies 2/3/4.. 90/95/100/105/110% accuracy. 5/6/7/8/9% crit. Deals 50% damage. On a successful hit, marks the enemy.
Suppressing Fire: Debuff chance now scales (100% flat to 90/100/110/120/130%), slightly greater accuracy debuff (-10/-12/-14/-16/-18% to -15/-18/-20/-22/-25%), debuff now applies even when the attack misses.
Bola: Now has a chance of reducing the target’s dodge (-10/-13/-16/-18/-20%) and speed (-1/-1/-2/-2/-3). Now deals slightly less damage (40%, from 50%).
Battlefield Bandage: Now also relieves a small amount of stress (2/3/3/4/4) and cures blights/bleeds. No longer grants a healing increase.
Flare: Dodge buff increased (5/6/7/8/9% to 8/9/10/11/12%), now buffs and clears stun/mark all allies.

Bounty Hunter:
Base Attack: Slight reduction in damage (5-10/6-12/7-14/7-15/8-16 to 5-10/6-11/6-13/7-14/7-16)

Target Tag: Increases Bounty Hunter’s speed (2/3/3/4/4) and accuracy (10/13/15/18/20) when used.
Come Hither: Now marks targets.
Uppercut: Now does 25% additional damage to marked targets.
Flashbang: Now marks the target.
Finish Him: Now does 25% additional damage to marked targets.
Hook and Slice: Now does 25% additional damage to marked targets.

Crusader:
Base Attack: Slight Reduction in Maximum Damage (6-12/7-14/8-16/9-17/10-19 to 6-11/7-13/8-14/9-16/10-17)
Base HP: Slight Reduction (33/40/47/54/61 to 33/39/45/51/57)

Grave Robber:
Flashing Daggers: Now can apply a small bleed (100/110/120/130/140% chance of 1/2/2/3/3 bleed).
Thrown Dagger: Increased accuracy granted (+5/6/7/8/10% to +15/18/20/22/25%)
Shadow Fade: Increased base accuracy (90/95/100/105/110% to 100/105/110/115/120%). Increased stun chance (100/110/120/130/140% to 125/136/145/155/165% chance).
Poison Dart: Increased base damage (10% to 50%), remove blight resist debuff.
Toxin Trickery: Now grants +15/18/20/23/25% damage and increases critical chance (+3/4/5/6/7%). Grants a low-damage, blighting riposte. Now has a side effect of -10 speed (Instead of +Speed). No longer grants a dodge buff.

Camping Skills:
Gallows Humor: On an unlucky roll, now grants 5% stress relief. (From 20% additional stress.)
Night Steps: Now only costs 1 time.
Pilfer: Now only costs 1 time.

Hellion:
Base Damage: Reduced (From 6-12/7-14/8-16/9-17/10-19 to 5-11/6-12/7-13/8-14/9-15) – but see other changes.

Hellion Exhaustion (Shared between Barbaric Yawp, Breakthrough, and Bleed Out): Now has a greater damage debuff (-20% to -30%), and now has a substantial accuracy debuff (-20%).
Adrenaline Rush: Accuracy Boost Increased (5/6/7/8/9% to 15/18/20/23/25%).
Breakthrough: Now only usable from spaces 1 and 2.
Wicked Hack: Base damage increased (100% to 120%).
Iron Swan: Base damage increased (100% to 120%).
If It Bleeds: Base damage increased (100% to 120%).
Bleed Out: Base damage increased (115% to 140%).

Highwayman:
Base Damage: Lowered maximum damage. (From 5-11/6-13/7-14/7-16/8-18 to 5-10/6-11/7-12/7-14/8-15)

Grape Shot Blast: Damage Reduced (50% to 40%), Accuracy Reduced (75/80/85/90/95% to 65/70/75/80/85%), Critical Chance Reduced (-7/-6/-6/-6/-5% to -10/-9/-9/-9/-8%).

Camping Skills:
Gallows Humor: On an unlucky roll, now grants 5% stress relief. (From 20% stress damage.)

Houndmaster:
Bases: Base damage raised (3-6/4-7/4-8/5-10/5-11 to 4-6/5-8/5-11/6-13/7-15)
Dog Treat: Now raises attack damage by 50% (from 100%).

Hound’s Rush: Now triggers off of generic mark, instead of houndmaster’s unique mark.
Hound’s Harry: Now deals an extra 50% damage on marked targets.
Howl: Stress heal now always works. Number lowered (3/4/4/4/5 from 3/4/5/6/7). Now buff the user’s damage by 22/24/26/28/30%.
Whistle: Now uses normal mark instead of a houndmaster-unique mark. Now also reduces protection by 10/11/12/13/15%.
Guard Dog: Dodge lowered (15/18/20/22/25% to 15/16/17/18/20%).

Jester:
Dirk Stab: Now moves Jester forwards 2 (From 3). No longer usable from space 1.
Harvest: Now moves Jester forwards 1.
Finale: Now usable from 1/2 (from 1), and moves Jester backwards 2 (From 3)
Solo: Enemy accuracy decrease improved (15/16/17/18/20%), now reduces crit chance (-5/-5.5/-6/-6.5/7%), debuff chance improved (90/100/110/120/130% from 70/80/90/100/110%), now marks self, now grants a weak stunning riposte (at 30% damage, with a weak stun). No longer grants speed.
Slice Off: Now moves Jester backwards 1. Now usable from position 3/2/1 (From 3/2).
Battle Ballad: Increase accuracy granted (5/6/7/8/10 to 8/9/10/11/12%) and critical chance gained (3/3/4/4/5 to 3/3.5/4/4.5/5). Now heals stress (3/4/4/4/5).
Inspiring Tune: Replaced by Dissonance.
Dissonance: Usable from any space. Moves the Jester back 3. Targets full enemy team. Does not deal damage. 90/100/110/120/130% chance of lowering enemy damage by 15/16/17/18/20% and enemy speed by 3/4/4/5/5, and shuffling the enemy team.

Leper:
Speed: Level 0 weapon speed increased (2 to 6). Now in-line with other speeds.

Revenge: No longer has a defense/protect debuff attached.

Man-At-Arms:
Speed: Level 0 weapon speed increased (3 to 6). Now in-line with other speeds.

Base Damage: Lowered maximum damage. (From 5-10/6-12/7-13/7-15/8-16 to 5-8/6-9/7-10/7-12/8-13)

Riposte: Damage reduced (60/80/100/120/140% to 50% flat)
Command: Increased buff potency (1/1/2/2/3% crit to 3/3.5/4/4.5/5% crit, 5/6/7/8/9% accuracy to 10/11/12/13/15% accuracy). Grants self the same buff. Now only usable from 4/3 (From 4/3/2/1).
Bolster: Increased buff potency (5/6/7/8/9 to 8/9/10/11/12 defense). Grants self the same buff. Now only usable from 4/3 (From 4/3/2/1).

Occultist:
Wyrd Reconstruction: Bleed now fixed at all levels (from 60/70/70/80/85% chance of 1/1/2/2/3 bleed to 60% chance of 1 bleed at all levels)

Plague-Doctor:
Noxious Blast: Allow targetting space 3, Increased and smoothened out blight chance progression (100/100/120/120/140% to 110/120/130/140/150%). Blight altered – 2/3/3/4/4 blight can now apply on hit, while 2/2/2/2/2 blight can always apply regardless of hit or miss. Increased damage (25% to 50%). Increased accuracy (75/80/85/90/95 to 80/85/90/95/100%)
Plague Grenade: Allow to target position 2, increased and smoothened out blight chance progression. (100/100/120/120/140% to 110/120/130/140/150%). Blight altered – 2/3/3/4/4 blight can now apply on hit, while 2/2/2/2/2 blight can always apply regardless of hit or miss. Increased damage (10% to 25%).
Blinding Gas: Added slight damage (0% to 20%), added aim debuff (100/110/120/130/140% chance of -10/-11/-12/-13/-15 Acc)
Incision: Smoothened out bleed chance, slight increase in bleed damage (100/100/120/120/140% chance of 1/1/2/2/2 bleed to 100/110/120/130/140% chance of 2/2/3/3/4 bleed). (75/80/85/90/95 to 80/85/90/95/100%)
Battlefield Medication: Allow use from position 2. Changed to target all allies.
Embolding Vapors: Changed to target all allies. Reduced damage amount (25/27/29/31/33% to 10/12/14/16/18%).
Disorienting Blast: Added damage (0% to 50%), added stun chance (125/135/145/155/165%). Removed ability to use from position 1, removed ability to target enemy in position 4.

Camping Skills:
Experimental Vapours: Reduce cost to 3. On failure, heal some health (0% to 25%).
Leeches: Reduce cost to 1. Reduce heal amount (15% to 5%).
Self-Medicate: Reduce cost to 2.

Vestal:
Base Damage: Slight increase in minimum at level 1, lowered maximum at higher levels (4-9/5-11/6-13/6-14/7-16 to 5-9/5-10/6-11/6-12/7-13)
