    I recently became aware that the custom drug items gained through the quest system don't have their effects applied when you "use" them, so none of the drugs that are bought or otherwise acquired in a quest will give you the desired effect when used. This is an issue with DFU that will be addressed in a later update of DFU (probably 1.2). Because of this, the "buy some drugs" quests previously in this mod were next to useless, so I changed them to "get drugs for a desperate citizen" ones instead, these are now available in the latest versions of this mod, v1.2 and later.

    I retried multiple times but I can't seem to finish Quest TGPAP006 "Escort an Escort". It seems to get stuck after bringing the prostitute to the tavern.

    Saying no to her request to defend her doesn't complete the quest and I can then neither talk to her or the quest giver.

    And if I say yes to her request to defend her and loiter in the tavern then just waves of enemy spawn (always two at a time) until either the spawning just completely stops or it keeps going until the quest timer runs out and the quest fails.

    Looking into the quest file I see somewhere along the line the stalker should spawn? But that doesn't seem to happen.

      I'm looking at this right now and I can't for the life of me work out why it wouldn't work. But, can I ask, did you have a fight with the stalker before you got to the tavern you're escorting the escort to? If so, how did it go? It's a long shot, but If you managed to kill them there then they won't turn up later.

      Okay this should be fixed now that I've made a few changes to it ... download the v1.5a Quest Patch and let it overwrite the main v1.5 quest pack. Just replaces that one quest. NB v1.5 should be installed first and IS required! Please let me know if you still encounter a problem with this quest ... it was quite a tricky one.

      First of all, I really want to thank you for trying to fix this even though it's something minor. So now I took the quest again, didn't fight anyone on my way but when I arrive in the new Inn the pop up shows up that says basically "Unfortunately the stalker showed up after you left and killed her". Effectively ending the quest but subsequently another pop up comes up saying "I know the stalker will show up pls stay". Regardless of how I answer, the quest has been removed from my quest log and is effectively complete. Leading me to assume that the first pop up has taken affect.

      Yeah ...  I think I'm going to have to completely rewrite this quest. I don't understand what's wrong with it. Back to the drawing board I think. I'll try and work on it soon.

      Now fixed with the new Quest Patch v1.5b. Just let it overwrite the old quests.

      Ty! The quest works flawlessly now. I fortunately or unfortunately have another quest to report. I've tried it a few times now, quest TGPAP008. Pretty much I go to one Prostitute and she points me to another. The last one lets me know 3 locations where I assume people are supposed to attack. Only one building has enemies who spawn in it and they give me the dialog saying something like "Don't mess with The Wharf Rats!". I kill him and I go check the other buildings if I haven't already and there are no more enemies. I also have rechecked them just to make sure, to no avail. I am not able to turn in the quests or interact with the prostitutes for a resolution. No need to rush on any of this, I really enjoy your mod and happy holidays!

      The enemies will only spawn in one hideout location ... there should be three of them though. When you kill all three you should get a message that you have done the task and should report back to the quest giver.

      Looking at the quest file, I've changed the method for spawning the enemies so all three should now spawn... I won't post it just yet in case you find any other bugs in the other quests. Let me know if you do and I'll fix them before posting the next update. Thanks for checking them out.

      No problem. I'm enjoying the game. So I looked through your quest log on the description page and can say I have done all the quests except selling each kind of individual drug. I also have never seen the Sell Skooma directly to a NPC pop up but I'm guessing that is just low percentile with all the other random quests in the game. So I think the quests are good for now 👍. I've also never been busted for drugs even after tens of hours. I do put my drugs in the wagon though and have very high stealth so it's likely it's working as intended but my character is fit to dodge that penalty.

      Okay ... quest TGPAP008 should be fixed with Quest Patch 1.5c. Let me know if you have any further problems.

    The quest that you get from dudes asking you to bring them 5 bottles of Skooma seems to be bugged. The stages don't finish properly and clear the quest log when you bring them only five bottles. To completely finish it you need to bring them a further 5 bottles after giving the first 5 bottles and receiving the reward money.

      I'll have a look at the quest code and see if I can work out why that is happening ... should need only one set of five to trigger the reward.

      You do get the reward after the first 5 bottles, it just doesn't finish the quest and clear it from the quest log.

      Steps:
      1. Receive quest
      2. Grab 5 Skooma bottles
      3. Talk to questgiver, give 5 Skooma bottles, receive money
      4. Quest still appears in quest log, questgiver can't be further interacted with...
      5. Until you bring a further 5 Skooma bottles and click the questgiver again, then it will take those 5 Skooma bottles from your inventory and finally finish the quest while clearing the quest log

      Just to second this, I encountered the same issue. The quest is still in my book, I just don't have enough extra skooma to give them.

      Also, is there any place we can sell Tobacco? I find it for sale in General Stores and Pawn shops, but I can't seem to find any shop that will buy it from me.

      I'm looking to fix this quest atm, so hopefully a fix should be coming, but I must ask ... did you get a message saying "Some busy-body snitch witnessed your drug deal and has reported you to the authorities!"? If so, that's why the quest didn't end immediately, it means the Wharf Rats got wind of you encroaching on their territory and have sent a rogue or two to get you. The quest won't end till shortly after you've encountered one. Doesn't explain why giving over 5 more skooma endds the quest though, so I still have something to fix, lol. Anyway, update coming soon.

    Great mod adds a lot to the immersion of the game. I'm probably just missing something but I don't know who to sell drugs to in the Thieves Guild. The sell magic items vendor just opened and he won't accept any of my drugs.

      You can sell batches of 5 of most drugs to the quest giver ... click the quest giver, pick quests and choose a "Sell Five Samples of ..." quest. You really need the "Guild Quest Player Selection" option enabled in the DFU Advance - Enhancements settings so you can do this more reliably.

      Does this quest show up later? I have deliver drugs locally/regionally and drug delivery quests available but no sell drugs quest.

    I was just wondering if there is a "simple" way to rename the drugs as, for some reason, the "Skooma" is called "Skoomer"...

    The quest where you have to get 5 lots of skooma auto completed as soon as I got enough, without me having to go back to the person that wanted it. Dialogue popped up as if I was speaking to them and got my gold. I had a few of these quests open, so I think it chose the first one I picked up. 

    Edit: just noticed it's still open in my active quests and not finished quests, but says I paid the guy x amount of gold.

      I'll have a look at those quests and see if I can figure out why that would happen ... I have an idea, so should be able to fix for next update.
      Questions ...
      Have you done any of the other collect 5 of a drug quests? Those for the Thieves Guild, or is it just the collect Skooma for a commoner? If you did the Thieves Guild ones did they end properly once you handed over the drugs?
      Did you get a notification that someone witnessed your drug deal. If so the quest will remain open for a while. If not, it should have ended.

      Nah, not the thieves guild ones, just ones from commoners. I got witnessed apparently on one where you go and get a single drug for a commoner, but that completed fine but no guards came after me. I did scarper pretty quick though. But no, didn't get witnessed or anything else for the skooma for a commoner. I got the 5th one from an alchemist, dialogue popped up, got gold, quest was still active and said I got paid x amount of gold.

    I am not sure if this is an issue specific to this mod, but I have not run into it until I installed this one. I was talking to an NPC when I was suddenly told that someone else had resolved the problem, or something along those lines. I checked player.log and saw this:

      This is a standard Daggerfall (and DFU) response when it can't find a suitable location required for the quest to complete. It can happen with any and all quests, especially in small towns. Because you were in a small town with three taverns I can only assume the other taverns were either tied up somehow with other quests or didn't have appropriate quest markers in them (are you using Taverns Redone? That mod often didn't add/move the quest markers in the taverns it changed). It can seem very arbitrary at times though, so it may be another mechanism at play, I'm not sure. Either way, it should be a relatively rare occurrence.

      Thanks for the quick response. I was able to get some of the quests of this mod without this happening so I think the issue is just as you describe. I am in fact using Taverns Redone.

    Hi I've got a problem with this quest: "TGPAP000, GeneralPopulace, M, 0, 0, a tavern prostitute is behind on her dues so retrieve it from the rascal that stole it". I found the thief, killed it and picked up the gold on his corpse. But I can't give the prostitute her money back? Nothing happens when I click on her.
    I don't know if it matters, but I don't have a "pile of gold' quest item. When I looted the thief's corpse the pile of gold was indeed a green item but when I picked it up it simply merged with the rest of my gold.

      Ah. Yes, sorry about that. I'll have to have a look at it. Seems like quest items that are gold don't stay as quest items once you pick them up - I should be able to do a work around for that though ... it'll be in the next update.

      Is there a console command I can use to win the quest or am I doomed to take the reputation hit?

      Use the console command "print_quests"; this will give a list of all running quests. Find the UID number for that quest and then use the console command "endquest UID#" to stop it. You will neither win nor fail the quest though, it just tombstones it dead, but at least you won't loose any rep.

      Eh, I'll take it. I earned 2000 gold thanks to this bug so it won't bother me to gain no rep.

    Curious, but from gameplay point of view it could be more of a nuisance than something worth even picking up. Can't see any strong point why player should bother with it.

      If you play a criminal (or any other type of) character with high stealth and streetwise, the chance of getting caught is pretty slim ... even without that, carrying drugs (in your wagon) is relatively safe. Using drugs can give a decent buff, though you probably shouldn't be using the illegal ones in town if you don't want your legal rep to suffer. This mod is for roleplaying a certain type of character though, so if you don't play that type of character ... just say no.
