Crossbows
Description: Adds crossbows to loot piles and shop shelves. Each material from Iron to Daedric has custom graphics courtesy of RealAKP. Crossbows differ from regular bows in that they take longer to reload and deal more damage per shot. They use normal arrows for ammunition. Enemy mobs do NOT have custom animations for crossbows as of this writing.
Instructions: Extract crossbows.dfmod to .../DaggerfallUnity_Data/StreamingAssets/Mods. After opening the DFU launcher you may go to the mod settings and choose between high quality and DOS-quality firing/reloading sounds to suit your preference.
Known Issues: Due to the hacky implementation of this custom weapon that I made out of necessity, it will behave differently from vanilla weapons in two ways: 1. Mobile NPCs won't walk away from you when you draw your crossbow on them. 2. Your pacification chance with the crossbow drawn will be the same as if it were holstered.
