   That's actually a good idea, but I think for something like that we need an alternative to 'Hunterborn' in DFU

      So if you enter a town and he leaves, will he be back the next time you spend 10 days in the wild?

      Nope, If you enter town on the Apaturia the 7th day he will stay with you. But if you enter town any other day then he leaves forever as the oath is broken.
      However, if you did break the oath you could just use the console command 'startquest DW00300' to begin the quest again.
