Overhauls the wilderness nature layout by introducing abundant forests, open fields, dense rainforests and barren deserts.
This mod started as the work of Daniel87 who had mostly completed the work for the temperate woodland climates, the mod was since abandoned. The work was too good to leave behind so I forked the repository, fixed the code to work with the latest version of DFU and completed all of the other climate types.
Instructions
Just copy the .dfmod into your DaggerfallUnity_Data/StreamingAssets/Mods folder.
Fireflies and Shooting Stars - Have been disabled by default as they increase performance requirements. You can turn these back on in the mod settings if you prefer. I may look at optimising these in the future.
Complementary Mods
- Interesting Eroded Terrain Adds interesting hills and mountains to the terrain
- World of Daggerfall Adds bandit camps, buildings, rocks etc to the wilderness
- Real Grass Adds grass and additional flora (Not advised if using accelerated travel in Travel Options)
- Basic Roads Adds roads linking the world's locations
- Low Poly Trees Replaces flat nature sprites with low poly models
