Great mod, its just this bug that happens when you load it with simple 3d trees. Although its stated in the description that its compatible, the entirety of the mountain and desert biomes disappear when loading them together. Is there an explanation for this?
Edit: Nevermind, it was because i use simple 3d trees pixelated, which isnt compatible. My question then is, is there plans to make the pixelated version compatible?
im having the same problem some other people have mentioned here recently. with the mod enabled, the water ground texture appears as snow/dirt. im using the latest version of daggerfall unity, 1.1.1, and the only thing that seems to fix it is disabling this mod. I even tried installing it on 1.0.0, but it still happens there.
edit: I tried installing an older version of the mod, 0.2.0, and it doesnt seem to have this problem. ill will use it for now
I'm having a strange issue where fireflies are still spawning even with them turned off in the mod settings. I'm also getting really bad lag with Travel Options, but only at night, so I'm assuming that the fireflies are the culprit, but I might be wrong. If the setting for turning them off worked, I think the lag would disappear. Are there other mods that add fireflies? They seem to be grouped in little swarms.
I downloaded the latest version (0.3.1) and it seems to have deleted the oceans. I disabled all of my mods, and enabled each mod one-by-one to determine which one was the cause, and this one was the cause. Conversely, the oceans return if I enable all my other mods and only enable Wilderness Overhaul. Any way to fix this?
I've also noticed this issue and realized that Wilderness Overhaul was the cause. This was with the latest mac version of this mod and Daggerfall Unity.
Unlike me you seem to have tested things more, so it's good to know that the Wilderness Overhaul works on it's own. This implies that the issue is caused by a conflict with some other mod.
Have you tested to only enable Wilderness Overhaul and then enable other mods (one at a time) till it breaks again? This would help to identify what mod/mods it might have conflicts with. Also note that the load order may matter, as this affects which mods changes take priority.
Considering the previous few comments, I wanted to share that Wilderness Overhaul works with Travel Options with no issues on my PC (also 7800x3D). Obviously, I don't doubt that the other users have experienced frame rate issues, but it seems that they are dependent on other mods or hardware.
The mod itself falls into the must-have category for me. It completely changes the landscape (for the better!) and makes the wilderness feel real.
Fantastic mod. Unfortunately it's basically unplayable when using Travel Options, as it causes massive frame rate crashes by maximizing CPU usage. I have a 7800x3D and it pushes it to 100% CPU usage.
It looks really great but it seems to create some serious stuttering when using Travel Options, I have minor stuttering with World of Dggerfall, with this mod the game stutters way more, even if I don't stack it with any other wilderness mod
The mod seems to spawn grass/concrete tiles on wide patches of water on my end. Tested along WOD and by itself, and the results were the same. I was pretty sure the Daggerfall City canal leading to the castle didn't use to have concrete in the middle, haha. Great mod otherwise.
Alright, this is actually my fault -- I introduced changes to the terrain texturing to help with World of Daggerfall compatibility. Could you please post a Player.log in case that helps debug this?

This mod is amazing, but alongside any tree replacer it's basically a no-go.

edit2: the latest version fixed it!
