It looks really great but it seems to create some serious stuttering when using Travel Options, I have minor stuttering with World of Dggerfall, with this mod the game stutters way more, even if I don't stack it with any other wilderness mod
The mod seems to spawn grass/concrete tiles on wide patches of water on my end. Tested along WOD and by itself, and the results were the same. I was pretty sure the Daggerfall City canal leading to the castle didn't use to have concrete in the middle, haha. Great mod otherwise.
Alright, this is actually my fault -- I introduced changes to the terrain texturing to help with World of Daggerfall compatibility. Could you please post a Player.log in case that helps debug this?
I still get tiny lags here and there if I travel for a long time or jump around the map a lot, but it's soooooo much more negligible and easy to ignore. By several factors! I am genuinely thankful. :)
I wish Nexus would allow me to link to a comment thread elsewhere on the site.
I don't know if it is of any interest to you (the mod publisher) but Wilderness Overhaul, World of Daggerfall and Eroded Terrains are too good together not to use in combination. Recently I've uncovered some massive lag issues though and myself and another player pinned it down to Wilderness Overhaul by turning other mods on and off (with the exception of WoD and WO as I initially thought the lag was being caused by WoD's recent update).
Yanno, the usual method of discovery. haha
The entire journey is in a comment thread over on WoD's page but sadly I cannot direct you to it specifically as Nexus' interface is trapped in 15 years ago land. I wanted to bring it up over here in case anybody had suggestions on how to reduce lag fiddling with Overhauls' settings as they currently are, or if it inspired an update or what have you.
This is going to sound kinda funny but, using this mod in combination with "World of Daggerfall" and the "Dynamic Skies", the wintery, gentle-rolling hills of the opening region remind me a ton of upstate-NY. haha
