Is it possible to disable the wavy movement of the grass? I'm using pixalated grass and I'd love to have a vanilla feeling with everything being static. I didn't find anything in the settings for that.
I've found that if you install the "Vibrant Wind" addon (it's in the optional files section of the download page here) and set everything there to 0 in the mod settings, it stops all the wavy movement.
Could you please consider adding support for SnowyGreenGrass, SnowyBrownGrass, and SnowyNearWaterGrass/SnowyWaterPlants? The mod looks great, the only problem is in the snow, there is a harsh contrast between the white snow and the standard green grass, drawing attention to a clash between the green grass assets and Daggerfall's snow. It would be a great upgrade for this mod if we could make snow covered grass textures and snow-topped plants to blend smoothly with Daggerfall's snow. Anyways, thanks for your work.
Apparently the default grass texture you use with texture override is actually the one is used during all seasons, and if you make it white/grayed/brown - it will be this exact color during winter. All other seasons layer their designed colors over those colors tho.
Old billboard-style grass need some serious fixes - it is darker in distance, if I'm not messing it somehow. Also why non-bilboard grass does not support custom textures?
Upd: Seems like any grass has issues with getting darker at distance. Another issue is that billboard grass has small flat line, apparently it's own texture 1 pixel wide, visible over it. Like if grass is not full 2D sheet, but just a 1x1x0.1 block with texture applied to all sides.
Great mod, however I found couple issues: 1) Desert grass is not working in Billboard mode. There is message in console [Warning] Failed to load asset: DesertGrass_texDesertGrass_tex is missing. There is DesertGrass texture (that used by 3d grass) but not DesertGrass_tex. If you will enable texture override and add this texture to texture folder billboard desert grass will appear in game. 2) Grass near water is always using 3d grass even in Billboard mode

I had a road bump playing with this mod starting out, but after disabling stones my system could handle it a lot better. That being said, this is still an excellent mod (Pixelated grass included), and I welcome the change. I run on a pretty sub par computer, so I had to dabble with some mod settings. Style: Classic / Stones: Disabled / Height: (So grass doesn't grow in fountains) .35 - .65 / Thick Density: 5-9 / Thin Density: 1 - 4. With Classic or Mixed style these settings still feel natural, but to each their own. Give er a go!
what's even with the Rocks, i unpacked the mod (not the pixelated one)... rocks are just an transparent alpha channel (if you open in photoshop), they will look like completely black textures if you just look at them in Windows explorer.
I think we will have to swap those non-textures to the original files from the the actual mod. I'm going to try it
Edit: Yeah no I think the orignial mod pulled the rock textures from either the base textures or DREAM I don't know, I can't find the actual rock textures. There is only a mesh and then a mask I think it is
Any way to fix the black rock textures? I'd really rather not use the original mod because of how hard it needlessly tanks performance even when using the pixelated version.
Anyone having a similar problem? Trying to activate the tall version of the grass in the presets menu in the mod settings and am getting "Version Mismatch(1.7/1.8)". Otherwise I have the grass sprites but no flowers. Thanks
It seems that when this mod is enabled and grass billboard is unchecked in mod options (3D grass then), there are thousands of errors like that in player.log:

Stones are currently disabled due to stuttering issues when loading new chunks. I'm not 100% sure that the errors come from Real Grass because filenames like "64cb5d31287649ca960f6efbaab052bc" don't really help, but these errors stop when checking billboard again. DFU 1.0.0, Windows version.

All the small rocks on the ground are black for me
is there any way to get the flying insects working? I just see flying swarms of pink boxes lol
