About this mod
Adds the NT Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in interlinear Greek and English (Berean). Each book is a separate object. Also includes (in English only) the non-canonical Gospel of Thomas.

I was heavily inspired by olauss' Books of the Bible which adds all the OT books to the game. Go download that. If they ever add in all of the NT canon, great! This mod can remain for bored MDiv students or those curious about what the raw Greek looks like.
This mod includes 5 new books:
- Gospel of Matthew
- Gospel of Mark
- Gospel of Luke
- Gospel of John
- Gospel of Thomas (English only, maybe one day I'll learn Coptic)
This mod replaces the default font to use a font capable of displaying greek characters, so be aware that this will not work if your FONT0003-SDF.ttf file is not the one being used by this mod. You'll just see a whole bunch of ???????? in place of the Greek. I tried my best to make it look as presentable as possible, but a lot of the formatting I did through a script so if something is woefully wrong let me know and I'll try to fix it.
If you don't know what interlinear means, it means that the text looks like this:
(immediately) ἀνέβη (went up) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (the) ὕδατος (water); καὶ (and)
ἰδοὺ (behold), ἠνεῴχθησαν (were opened)c οἱ (the) οὐρανοί (heavens), καὶ (and)
εἶδεν (he saw) [τὸ] (the) Πνεῦμα (Spirit) [τοῦ] (of) Θεοῦ (God) καταβαῖνον
(descending) ὡσεὶ (as) περιστερὰν (a dove)
The text is from the open-source Berean Interlinear Bible. If I get around to scanning my NRSV interlinear I'll update this to use that. Also, if people are interested enough, I'll take the time to add in the rest of the New Testament. I think more people should try to check out the original greek, it leads to great discussions!
(ὑπωπιάζῃ is a boxing term, in this translation the English is just "exhaust me", but it's closer to "strike me under the eye". Fiesty widow.)
