is it only me or is local shadow mesh comeplely broken in 2.0? i haven't played since 1.6 and i had minnimal mods installed and i found a lot of the time, its either very jaggied or extremely low resolution. i have a monster rig but i dont play with RT. everything is fine rig wise
Installing this mod causes my GPU to not work at full capacity (75%)This causes fps to drop, not increase I also don't see any difference between the two screenshots I don't enjoy it
Mod is ok (I think), but, as a user playing on max settings with RT and bla bla bla, I kinda don't see any damn difference. Only noticeable change is the distant fog removal, BUT, imo, this shouldn't be done, cause distant textures are potato and, having optics, I can very clearly see all those potatoes. With the distant fog, this problem is at least partly hidden. So I immediately removed this setting to turn the distant fog back on. This distant potato stuff is the only real problem, that ruins the visual experience. But this mod doesn't fix this problem, and I don't think it can be fixed at all... If this mod actually improves Shadows, Lighting, Fog, Crowds, Traffic and Render Distance, then it's not "greatly", it's "barely", hard to notice even on the comparison screenshots. So I can not recommend this mod, cause the tweaks are so minor, that you wouldn't notice a difference, with or without.
since 'Realistic Traffic Tweaks v3' doesn't seem to affect the ini files it should be compatible with both my tweaks, I doubt the older versions of that mod will play nicely with any of my crowd tweaks tho. edit: I would not recommend using either Superpopulation or NVFlods from the 'Required' tab (They arent actually required anyways) with Realistic Traffic Tweaks but my tweaks should be fine :D
I was uninstalling BNC to take some comparisons and for some reason it makes the game crash 3x time w/o fail when I uninstall it before it will open again :p
Edit: Been using it for a bit, it's great, only complaint is it makes roads pop quite noticeably in when driving fast.
Ah not sure what's causing that as I have been moving it in and out of the directory all day without issues. Did you replace the "rendering.ini" with the original after deleting BNC? there's a download for it in the files tab if needed in the future. Glad its good, I've also noticed a few pop-ins when I was playing with the latest version of NCS, will try to get a new update out for it soon! Also thanks for the comparison pics, haven't had time to properly take my own yet so much appreciated!
it does give me better fps on pathtracing with dlss quality with RR but i am a sucker for visuals so a before and after photos will be appreciated !! from your tweaking did you change any settings that change visuals ? and thank you

I combined it with a bunch of settings from ILODD and BVH and it fixed a lot of the pop in but now I get like 45 FPS at 1440p when driving.
