About this mod

Removes the level scaling from attributes checks introduced in Update 2.0 and makes their difficulties be based on the skill tree's tiers instead.

Introduction:

I love Cyberpunk's 2.0 update. However, I noticed when I was playing that some of the attribute checks were significantly higher than I remembered them being beforehand.
I thought not much of it since I believed they might have just raised the requirements on a couple of specific ones before I started noticing how certain doors and gates in Watson eventually started going towards the 10+ point requirements to access them which I started to find absurd.

I decided to read up on it to see if I was the only one who thought this was silly and it turns out that not only were the requirements raised but they scaled to your level to a ridiculous rate which can lead to certain medium difficulty checks going all the way up to the maximum of 15 points needed to access a door or dialogue option.

So, I learned the basics of how to use WolvenKit and did my best to "fix" this by making this mod.

How this mod works:

What I did was that I opened up the "attribute_checks.curveset" file in WolvenKit and adjusted the values of the different difficulties of the checks to match that of the revamped skill tree tiers since I thought that would make the most sense to base it on.

I also made sure to completely flatline the scaling values so that those shouldn't change depending on your level now and should stay persistent throughout your playthrough.

Current Attribute Checks difficulties are now as follows:

Easy = 4 Points. - The same amount needed for 'Tier 1' of their respective skill trees.

Medium = 9 Points - The same amount needed for 'Tier 2' of their respective skill trees.

Hard = 15 Points - The same amount needed for 'Tier 3' of their respective skill trees.

Impossible = 20 Points (Unchanged) - The same amount needed to reach the top of their respective skill trees.

Installation:

- For manual installation (The preferred method in my opinion, as Mod Managers seems to have a tendency to misplace certain mods at times) -
Just extract the contents of the .zip file into the game directory.

No other mod requirements needed.

To double check if it's in its correct place: The file should be at "Cyberpunk2077/archive/pc/mod"
