About this mod

Prevents all enemies (with no exceptions) from revealing your location when you quickhack them.

Permissions and credits
Disables revealing position hack from all enemies. If you want a less overpowered version please download Disable Reveal Position Hack

Installation
  • Install the latest version of redscript and RED4ext
  • Extract main file zip file.
  • Copy the r6 folder to your Cyberpunk 2077 installation folder

redscript v0.5.16 had a minor fix for an issue that require users to install Cybercmd even if they don't use REDmod, it is now no longer necessary. Please download the latest redscript and you won't need to use Cybercmd anymore if you use RED4ext.

(if you don't want to use RED4ext then you must use Cybercmd)

Taken from redscript's description:

NOT WORKING?
If you are not sure if it's working or have any other issues, you should look for a log file at 'Cyberpunk 2077\r6\logs\redscript.log'.
This log file should end with 'Output successfully saved to ...' if the mods were applied successfully.
If the log file contains any errors or warnings, you can post them here to help with debugging.
If the log file isn't there, redscript has not been installed correctly.

Helpful comments from the mod post section:

For those who are unable to make it work, I may have a fix.

It worked for me, it might not work for everyone, but it's a very simple fix.

You need to go to your Cyberpunk 2077 root folder, and go to r6/cache ([..]\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache) and delete the modded folder inside. A lot of mods require you to delete the modded cache everytime they're added. Watch out, don't delete the WHOLE cache, just the "modded" folder.

Honestly I don't know why everyone is saying the mod doesn't work - it work flawlessly with mine and I have other mods mixed in too.

Maybe you guys need to reset your Cyberpunk folder to brand new? As in, the vanilla state it was in before you add mods - there is a mod here on nexus that does a clean wipe. Then add your mods and their dependencies. I did that when update 2.0 dropped.

THIS MOD IS WORKING!!! So, like what some folks here experienced, I also couldn't get this mod to work at first. I was adamant because some of my mods that relies on redscript were also not working properly. Turns out redscript was reallythe culprit all along. Check your redscript log (Cyberpunk 2077\r6\logs), and if it's not up-to-date with your game time then it's not working properly, it's not compiling the mods. I tried one of the suggestions here to just remove the "modded" folder in the cache, but mygame would crash even if I repair the game after. Anyway, here's what Idid:

1. I deleted the bin, engine, r6 and red4ext. I also removed ALL my mods. Basically cleaned everything.
2. Verify/Repair the game.
3. One by one installed Cybercmd, CET, Red4ext & redscript. OPEN your game after installing them if it's ok then proceed to install ArchiveXL, TweakXL, Virtual Atelier. Open your game again, reason is sometimes thegame won't load the scripts, and it will cause an error if you install things in the wrong order/you forgot a dependency. So just double check things!
4. I started to install all my mods again and would check the game every 5 mods I install. It was smooth sailing from here.
5. I installed this mod last, booted up the game, and bam! No more enemies locating my position! I also checked the redscript log, and it's working now.

I finally got it to work, so it works with 2.01 PL!
  •  Install the game cleanly. (Uninstall and delete the games folder then download again)
  •  Install CET (Cyber Engine Tweaks), Red4EXT and redscript and start the game.
  •  Install Disable Reveal Position Hack and start the game.
  •  Install the rest of the mods you want.

finally enjoy the game with mods.
