I will likely not be messing with this replacer version, as I am very busy with other mods right now; and also because the 2.0 Standalone version of this mod, using morphtargets, will negate any and all issues with makeup and freckles :)
Edit 2 (January 2024): Work on the Standalone version of the mod will resume soon; I hope to have it out in the next month or so. Thanks for supporting this version, and please look forward to V2; where none of the issues with makeup or freckles will be preset. Where you can mix and match on both sides of the face.
Edit 3 (28th January 2024): I am now actively working on the Standalone version of the mod. It will take some time but I want to make sure it is of the highest quality.
It will be some sort of mod conflict on your end; when I tested a couple of recolour options, they worked just fine. As you can see in one of the mod images, I tested both Anrui and Ladybella's cyberware recolours. You'll need to check you don't have a mod that could conflict with the half cyberware + any recolours. Beyond that I can't offer any further help; it's always worked fine on my end and this is the first I'm hearing of this issue months later. So I am sorry, I know it's frustrating, but all I can say is try and figure out what could be conflicting.
As I said in the pinned comment, I'm not offering major support for this mod anyway as I'm working on the Standalone/Morphtargets version :) I wish you luck in figuring out what caused it :)
I just tested the mod and that little gap in the shaved hair is bothering me a little haha And as I understand a future version of the mod will correct that, so I'll wait for it then!
Yeah sadly the gap in the hair may remain even with the standalone version; I believe the actual hair is built around that particular cyberware by design.
We shall see though, I'm starting work on the standalone version soon!
Cyberware 3 and 5 do mess with some things, as I mentioned in the mod images and mod description. If it's not those that you're using, it could just be some kind of mod conflict. Which cyberware option are you using? When I'm at my PC later I can test to see if it's a mod conflict.
(I say conflict as you can see in the screenshots that I use multiple options with makeup, with no issues)
Sorry for the belated reply-- it has the same effect with every cyberware actually ! I also tried to switch sides using the different mod files but same problem...
That's very strange. I'm not sure what could cause that, because as you see in the images that myself and my friends took, we're wearing makeup in alot of them and it doesn't seem to be affected. And we wore cyberware on either side with multiple options.
When my friends tested it, I also didn't get anyone mention issues with makeup. It may be a mod conflict of some kind?
I am still in 1.63 but 2.0 shouldn't have affected this mod. This is very strange and I'm sorry you're having this issue, but as myself and my friends testing didn't find this issue, I cannot seem to replicate this issue.
Maybe I can take a look when I update to 2.0 (working on Halloween mods right now) but as I said it shouldn't really affect that?
Don't apologize. You are doing a nice thing providing this! For some reason it also removes the makeup on the side the cyberware is on for me as well. No idea why. Trying to figure out if it is a mod conflict. If I figure it out, I will post!
Yeah I looked at stuff, it is possible that it could mess with things actually; some cyberware share meshes etc with makeup for some reason. I am very busy with other mods right now, and if I am being honest, I don't think I'll be messing with the replacers too much as the 2.0 standalone I'm working on will mean no issues with makeup or freckles :)
Wonderful mod. Is there a chance you consider making one more version that replace cyberware 2 with cyberware 1 so it would be compitable with hair mods? Thank you.
I can look into it, however Anrui does have a mod which replaces Cyberware 2 with Cyberware 1. I am more than happy to go see if that is compatible with my mod. If it is, I will let you know and you can try Anrui's switch mod :) Also, thank you very much for the kind words!
Okay so Anrui's mod isn't compatible, sadly. I am unsure of how to replace Cyberware 2 with Cyberware 1, as I made the replacers by specifically eliminating/flipping half the cyberware models via Blender. It may have to wait for the 2.0 Standalone of this mod, sadly; the 2.0 version will use Morphtargets and therefore won't rely on the cc options; so you will be able to use Cyberware 1 with custom hairstyles.
Apologies that I can't work on this immediately; I might end up waiting for Phantom Liberty + the big 2.0 patch to drop, as if we get new cyberware options I want to include them in my mod.
Edit: I am gonna consult with another modder, if this is easy to do I will do it :)
Yeah, I assumed that you had to edit meshes while simple swaps seem to be merely ctrl+c ctrl+v thing so they can’t be affected by this mod. But I won’t even pretend I know how Cyberpunk modding works, otherwise I wouldn’t be sitting here, expatiating in the comments. Thanks for your reply! Will sure be waiting for the updates.

Suggestion: I'd really like some more cybereyes to replace the bizarro ones in the vanilla game. I like to change V's eyes as she/he upgrades Kiroshis, but there are very few choices that don't look unpleasant or just plain bizarre. Something obviously cyber, but nice looking. Possible?
Hi! As stated in the mod name and the images, you can have them on either side of the face :D the 2.0 version will allow for multiple to be loaded on either side of the face- I am working on that right now and hope to release it within the next month or so! I really appreciate the interest! :D
Given the eye mods I've seen, the upgraded Kiroshis could definitely be possible. I do intend to get into making eye mods soon, but I have several I want to prioritise. However, I can note this down, and see if I can try it in the future! But either way, I won't be attempting major mods like that until the 2.0 Standalone version of this mod is up and running.
Yeah and I myself might delay 2.0 of this mod in case we get new cosmetic cyberware options when Patch 2.0 drops; so I can include the new options as well.
