I'm so sad that there isn't an option for Days x2 longer and Nights half as long! :(

В 2.12 патче из за этого мода слетает "слоу мо" в добиваниях. Ночью точно, днем не стал тестировать, удалил мод.

Не уверен как он может затрагивать добивания или слоу мо, это совсем другие системы

I'm not sure I understand how this mod works. Does the in game clock just slow down when (for example) it gets to night time and then the clock speeds back up when it gets to day?

Does the in game clock just slow down when (for example) it gets to night time and then the clock speeds back up when it gets to day?
Its not actually speed up because it changes the base time curve values, it means how many real time seconds ingame minute last and that value differs for day/night

So this slows the in game clock?  cus' I'm trying to pair it with Balanced Nighttime Cycle to try and get a better matching clock cycle. If possible. ty & sorry if this is a stupid question.

According to that mod description it changes the same file so you can't pair anything here.

    1. Does Longer days and longer nights version make both days and nights 3x long compared to vanilla?
    2. How long is that compared to vanilla 7-8 seconds=1 min IRL?

Each version just takes vanilla curve values and multiplies to some value (or divides for shorter versions) , its either x2 or x3 for longer day-nights (don't remember the multiplier cuz it's been a 2 years)

I'd like to request a tweak that doubles the entire day/night cycle, with the exception of the 11:30 PM to 2:00 AM span, which I would like to see multiplied by 7.5 instead of 2.

Reasoning: This game has an inexplicable quirk when it comes to the darkness of actual nighttime. It doesn't get dark until around 11:30 PM. But then it's already pretty bright by 2:30 AM. It's basically the cycle you'd get at an extreme northern latitude. Night City is canonically located between San Francisco and Los Angeles, so it should have a more typical day/night cycle.

It's been three years and nobody has fixed this, so I'm guessing it simply can't be fixed.

So the next best thing is to just ignore the clock and force those 2.5-hour-long nights to last more or less as long as they should have been. I understand that the lowest the multiplier can go is about 0.13. Conveniently, a 7.5x increase in duration comes out to a multiplier of 0.13333 so it works out. (As for the overall doubling of timescale, I just happen to feel that days in Cyberpunk are stupidly short.)

I already tried to make this mod myself, but my result causes occasional flashes in-game, so I obviously don't know what I'm doing.

hello, excuse me but what is the formula to calculate timescale please ? i dont understand at all how you calculated the values :/

for example for realife hours timescale, how did you end up with 0,124899998 ? and why are there 27 curvepoint float ?

i'd appreciate your help please, i'd like to mod it for myself to have X3 longer days X3 longer nights.

I calculated nothing, just used x2 or x3 multipliers to what CDPR already had (and I have no idea what was the logic behind their values)

i see, thank you for the answer, i did the same based on your mod to get around X3 for day/night cycle.

That article is weird, the 'default' timescale is different than the one in 2.1, and the values in their Time and Value columns are switched for some reason

Hello, I followed your guide on creating custom timescale, but for some reason it isn't applying into the game. First time I changed the numbers in the Time column. Next I changed the numbers in the Values column after starting a new project and deleting the old one. Neither one changes the scaling in my game, it's still vanilla. Would you have any idea on what the issue would be? Thank you.
