I've tried all 3 new versions of this mod, and my game is definitely updated to version 1.05, but it keeps making the game crash? I have chosen the correct location but no luck. (Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\platform\pc)
EDIT: Using GOG version of the game, I deleted the options file and had to re-verify my files and then copy over the mod again, and all was good, didn't get rid of my current settings/keybinds either
Are you using some other mods ? Maybe some modified files from your game are not updated. A lot of mods cause the game to crash because of the new update. Because of that I had to reinstall the game from scratch to make sure all the leftover were deleted ( another solution is to just delete the R6 folder and make steam / gog redownload the folder) I tried the 3 different version of my files on a freshly game installation and they all worked.
Also try to open the file from my mod and make sure "version" is at 65 and not 59.
Managed to fix it. I deleted the options file and had to re-verify my files and then copy over the mod again, and all was good, didn't get rid of my current settings/keybinds either, thanks for trying to help though.
Just a heads up mate, latest hotfix has done something to cause your mod to make the game crash. I just validated game files and only put your mod back on, installed in platform/pc as your instructions say and crash :(
Hello, thank you for the info. they've updated theI'm gonna upload an updated version for both the main file and the better control menu version soon !
EDIT Update is live, all version should works for now. Sadly because of the game update you may have to rebind everything (the game may reset to default settings on launch with a warning message). but once you've done it you'll be good to go.
some people have said setting the response curve to raw in the advanced controller settings fixed their mouse input, but i'm not sure if that's placebo or not
Can you post a screenshot of the file opened ? because it open just fine on my end screenshot
Also don't put the file there E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings but there E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\platform\pc
Same name but different files and location. If you past it in the wrong folder the game crash
I definitely put it in the right folder, but of course it doesn't work cuz the code is all messed up on my end (weirdly the better controls menu mod opens just fine)
I'd love to use this mod but for some reason it just TANKS FPS. Tried with default options file and was driving through the city at ~60+ FPS, and with these I am at 32 frames. RIP.
After looking at similar mods and their functions I've come to the hypothesis that this mod defaults Graphics settings to the hidden "Psycho" setting, regardless of changing them in game. Other similar mods to this also unlock the hidden psycho graphic option, thus I think this one may have been tweaked in a similar way.
This mods shouldn't tanks your fps and shouldn't put any graphics settings into the hidden "psycho" settings. those modifications are not even created into my modified file, I didn't tweaked any graphics settings at all. the only modifications I made are for the sensitivity sliders only.
The only thing from this mods that can impact performance is setting the fov too high.
It may be possible however that using my files will make your game render at 4K since that's what I use., so check your resolution and graphics settings and put it back to what ever you're using. As I said in the description "You may need to tweak your graphics settings again."
I'm gonna upload a new version with the default 1080p setting just in case in the next hour.
Wont start for me, keeps Crashing at Launch. I want to have a lower FOV in 3th person when driving Cars, can you tell me the value in the options.json, that i can change it manually?!

Everything my mod does is directly included in Better Controls Menu so just download it instead.
Edit I found it!
If you wonder where it is here you go

Please consided endorsing ! :)
Edit : should finally work now... Hopefully.
if it still crash open the file and make sure "version" is at 65 and not 59.
Do you know how to disable mouse acceleration/smoothness that is built into the game? Aiming just doesn't feel very responsive.

I would like to increase the zoom sensitivity to move the ads slower, I went to Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings and look for
?I changed "max_value": 2.0, on 4.0 but didn't see any change, any suggestion ..? thanks
EDIT: i think that command is not the right one because the 'step_value": 0.1 but in game is 0.5...
EDIT 2: ok i found and fix, now the zoom sensitivity is more accurate.
Edit: I've realized it's a global zoom sens change. Turns camera/eye zoom movement to a crawl.
"name": "FPP_MouseZoomFactor",
Then, the value to change is "max_value"
But yeah, it affect ALL the zooming effect sadly. Hopefully CDPR will allow us proper ADS sensitivity

EDIT : It's up
Edit: Never mind I'm a dingus, was putting it in the wrong place.

instead of Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\platform\pc
As for the 3th car fov, there's no way to fix it as there's no 3rd person fov slider built in
