Features: 1. Real glass windshields! - all the vehicle windshield meshes have been turned into proper models vs the planar shapes in vanilla. 2. Windshield reflection power has been reduced, making them much more suitable for FPP driving while retaining the immersive beauty we all desire. 3. the previous method has been split into a part B for side and rear windows.
If you know a vehicle mod suffering from bad glass, have the author call us at four five five - five five five five - five five five five five, again that's four five five - five five five five - five five five five five, and say "Please, touch my glASS."
man... u nade my day ! The most immersive mod in VR with RT on !!! Fantastic TOP notch . Thank u very much.. this is one of the 5 best mods u need to have . Loving so much driving the cars in VR now, fantastic ! 11/10 :)
This is a great mod, thanks so much for sharing it!
I really like the reflective effect on the windshield and the strenght seem pretty much perfect to me but I find it to be a tad strong on the side window, mainly the driverside since that is the closest one. In some situations it's almost like a mirror. I was looking in Wolvenkit to see what could be adjusted but I'm not quite sure I figured it out. Could you perhaps help with some directions on what can be adjusted?
That's because of how side door reflections are achieved, and it's why they're separate files. The only solution will be for me to manually rebuild each one - all of them. EVERY SINGLE OOOOONNNNEEEE. I might do that at some point, but I'm working on Immersive Light at the moment.
Yes, I'm not an advanced user by any means but I've used it to edit mods and such previously. I could perhaps figure out how to do this but if you could give me a rundown on what to do then that would save a lot of time of course. If it's just boring/repetitive work then I don't mind to grind it down if I know what to do. :)
Please help, if anyone knows how to reduce the reflection of the windshield in version Glass 2.0 Part B, please tell me.Glass 2.0 Part B makes the bolle tinting contrasting, I really like it, but the strong reflection makes it difficult to see at least something, and at night it is even more difficult to see.I understand that in the version of Glass 2.0 Part A there is an ini file that can adjust the reflection, but in the version of Glass 2.0 Part B there is no ini file. I would even be satisfied with the option to completely remove the reflection, but leaving the main thing the color of the windshield.
These are literally the same settings from Glass 2.0 Part A, except that "TransparentReflectionEnvironmentBlendFactor" is 0.075 without a few zeros. Do I need to activate something in Ultra Plus Best Performance? I did as you said, but the reflection still remains. With Ultra Plus, optimization is a complete mess... Out of 80 frames, I now have 40-60. I'd better return everything to how it was.
Glass looks very cool with these mods, but not usable with custom cars. When inside the car, with Immersive glass mods windshield in the car looks so dark, it is almost impossible to see the road and drive. And as far as I understand, the only solution for now is to unnistall reGlass, then ask car modders to contact BabaBoey88 to fix the issue. And the fix might never happen.
I ran into a similar issue. When I turn on path tracing and get into a modded car in first person, all the windows around me turn completely black and invisible. Even after I deleted the mod, the windows stayed black. But if I disable path tracing and also turn off ray-traced reflections, the glass goes back to normal—though it's still kind of dark and not very visible. Edit: I disabled GITS Fuji ENV, and now the glass is visible and clear.
Booey88:)! In update 3.2 the developers added a new car "yaiba arv-q340", but unfortunately your mod does not work correctly on this car. I understand that you probably already abandoned the game, but if you are still reading this message, I ask you man to update the mod for this car. I am so used to playing with your mod, it is so amazing that I just can't afford to delete it, I have to suffer with playing with a bug.
I got a 3060 and I make her suffer just for being able to see those reflections while driving. It's just a small detail but it adds so much to the view that now I feel like something is missing if I turn RT Reflections off.
can this cause the glass inside of cars to go white when looking from outside during day? I remember a while ago when I working on a standalone car mod with someone that turning the glass into a two sided material had this same effect. btw I'm using this mod through GITS

is that PT?
yes

Do you have exp using WKit? Next week or so is a mess and I would need to find time to explain what you need to do beforehand.

Also use Ultra+ and I no longer have this issue (I used to). You also need a LUT that fixes the bloom issues.
